Toy rotation is key to having a calmer more focussed playtime. I agree it’s so important to pay attention to if they are still using it a lot to consider keeping it out longer. Great job Mama!

I love your toy rotation videos. I hope you definitely film when you declutter deeply. I am a mom with a 8 month old boy, I love to spend money on toys and your basement have no shame.. I'm new to your channel, may I, ask for tips & tricks on this topic, curious did you do a toy rotation when you just had Riley and/or how did you manage the toys with one child if you can please share that would be great to help me prep & be organized up for when my 8-month-old gets tired of his baby's toys and I'm gonna have to figure out how to have the toys situated. 😀 please continue to share toy videos it helps mee out BIG TIME!!!
My kid is a Jan baby. What we do with his new toys is let him have all of them the day of - Xmas snd bday - then I pick a few he showed the most interest in and those stay out. The others I stick into his different toy rotations. I rotate every week, and he has 6 rotations. So he's getting new toys for a month and a half. And by the time he's back to the first group, it feels completely new again because he only had it for the 1 week. He's 3. I'm loving seeing how you manage your family's toys and what toys they have as well as what things you group together
One thing you could try to do to sort of break up all the bulk new toys they get in December because of their birthdays and Christmas is to maybe try doing a Christmas in July type thing. That’s some thing a friend of mine does with his extended family and it might be a good idea to look into
