Both Milan Italy and Lake Como were stunningly beautiful places. The retirement fun just doesn’t stop as we saw the Last Supper Painting and Galleria in the Milan, along with train ride to Lake Como. Milan is a wonderful town and Lake Como is so picturesque.
We hope you are enjoying our 9-month European adventure and also go back and check out our adventures in Central America and seeing all 50 states during our Airstream journey across America.
Please join us for a 10-year journey and world travel vlog. We wanted to retire early and see the world and film our adventures. Perhaps our world travel will give some ideas on what to do after retirement and where to travel in 2022. We have no home just travel and want to show you different perspectives as we show you where to visit in 2022 and give you our experiences as we travel the world. ABOUT US:
As the retirement travelers, we have always dreamed of traveling, but we never in a million years thought we would become travel vloggers and start a TH-cam channel. But, that is what we did! We work hard every day to become better and create something that others will enjoy. Having a community of friends, old and new, follow our journey is fun and exciting to us.
In 2019, we achieved our goal of visiting every state in the union in our Airstream. We also visited every national park in the lower 48. We are big believers in lists, so of course we plan to see the remaining 12 parks in the next few years.
In 2021, we made the big decision to extreme downsize to just a suitcase and a small backpack, each. We started our journey around the world beginning in Central America. We hope that over the next ten years, we will have seen many beautiful things, made many memories and new friends, and shared the experience with our children and grandchildren.

My husband loves gelato so much that I had to take him to Italy. We spent our 20th anniversary in Florence and the area around it. He ate gelato every day. On the last day, he ate it three times! 😂😂

We will be in Florence for our 17th anniversary with our kids. Gelato is definitely on our menu

Great video. We have been to Italy multiple times, but have yet to get to Milan and Lake Como. They have been on list, but may have moved up a couple spots! And hey you can never go wrong with gelato. In my younger days I once traversed Rome in a day stopping every few blocks to eat a cone. It took 9 cones to do all the central historic sites! Probably not the most healthy thing, but at least I was walking... :)

We don't have a subway or train system where I live, so being able to hop on one in a new city is always fun for me. Mundane for many I'm sure, but exciting for me, lol. The buildings are spectacular there aren't they? I think I'll get a couple of Ferrari jackets - one for each of my Ferrari's! (He laughs). I'm the same way when I don't eat. It doesn't seem to effect Akane. Superior genes I suspect! lol. By the look of it, I may have needed a couple of plates, lol.
We do love public transport. Who actually buys Ferrari jackets?🤣 You might look great in one!!
Milan seems so distant now so thanks for bringing back the memories. We’ve been in the Balkans the last 2 months and absolutely loving it. Great prices, friendly people and beautiful places. If you like affordable travel, put it on your list. Safe travels, John and Bev

I've just read your interesting blog on Vienna. At the bottom of it was a link to your experiences in Bratislava, but I couldn't open it. (......... bratislava-travel-guide-slovakia)
It didn't show any error (missing link, or something like that). A little bit further was a button to describe to your newsletter. When I clicked on it, nothing happened. When I double-clicked on the button the text "Alert - content is protected" appeared. What am I doing wrong?
I just got my first pair of Hoka's the Bondi. I've worn the Brooks Ghost for years but I really like the cushion in the Hoka's. Where do you find all this great music for your videos? The video effect of the shirts overlay on top of the marmots made me smile.
As I have aged, I can’t seem to wear any other kind of running shoe!! Hokas rock!! We use a couple of music services where you pay a monthly fee and have access to the music. Glad our shirts made you smile. John and Bev

Thanks. No particular websites for tracking flights. We are mostly traveling by train this year. We use Airbnb almost exclusively for lodging with an occasional Booking.com. Safe travels, John and Bev
