As a kid, I always liked the thought of having other Steve's in the game. Not necessarily players, Just other Humans to give the minecraft world more life.
this is the reason why minecraft was such a terrifying game to me when i was younger, it felt like you were the last person in the whole universe

I did too but I didn't get xbox live gold until years later.
I remember time and my cousins building a castle of about this size and creating traps and a moat thinking a day would come where the mobs would lay siege to our base. Such fond memories.

I just realized this video is my favorite video on TH-cam. I remember watching this video when I was in third grade. It gives me the true feeling of Minecraft, a feeling of joy, but a different and truly unique feeling of joy. I felt the same way when I watched it for the first time, but now that I feel like this again in a long time, it is very nostalgic.
10 years later still one of the best voice acting videos.

This comment really made me think. My one friend that I met on minecraft just disappeared recantly and I cant find him in my friend list. I considered him to be my best friend on minecraft, I still remember the time when he left my world for the last time. I even made a grave for him in the same world. I miss him so much 😢

And if you were wondering, his name was "STICK MAN" and yes he had all caps, we met on the battle mini game on the Nintendo switch, then we hung out a lot in the game, but I never asked him if he had social media. I had this guy that invite me on a faction server a while ago, i played on the same base and server for atleast 3 months before I took a break. On the 3 months I played, this guy would help me all the time, we would go mining together, raiding, hunting, and farming. And as you just remembered me, the server we played is close adn I didnt know how to send the friend request. ;~÷

I watched this video when I was like 4 and I played Minecraft PE. I immediately knew that the pigzilla and the doors were fake but I didn’t know how they were faked. I built many small castles around my main world trying recreate the castle in the video.

After 2 years, I have come back to Minecraft and when I heard haggstrom, i immediately thought of this video. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve last seen it, and it’s just as beautiful as the day I left it. Back then, I was in 1st grade and being a kid. Now, I’m 17, graduated from high school, and enlisted into the Navy.
This video makes me kinda emotionally because we can't go back to the simple day's of not being worried about school or your job but just thinking about what you're going to build next.

remember watching this so young u forgot the name untill u finnally mashed together "steve castle animation" and it worked and led u to rewatch the vid that inspired u for redstone and commands, no? just me? well atleast that first part u gotta be able to relate to, rite?
I remember watching this when I was 6-7 years old and being amazed at the sound effects and wondered how did they manage to get so many characters (not players, I didn't know you could play online lol) to do so many unthinkable things.
Now I know exactly how they did everything and notice very little details. I love this even more.

I remember having an argument with my childhood friend, whereas he argued that it was all done in Minecraft and it wasn't edited whatsoever. I remember him trying to replicate the castle door in Minecraft afterwards, but couldn't make it fall down. Haha

2019 "better get my friends on my small phone to make a minecraft modern redstone underwater floating neather city with the wither inside by _googling_ up how to make farms for things and going to the ocean to get *all* of my iron, _diamonds_ , and conduits, ill just supply us with wood with my enchanted diamond axe i got from creative mode.
basically it takes 0 skill to get actual rewarding and progressive items now,
need anything important? just go to the ocean and get free iron gold armor food light sources you name it.

2011 was the simple great times to be around on the internet but peaceful times when Minecraft ruled the world by storm and this video about Castle Steve was truly a great nostalgia classic of the internet.

Before I use to think the monsters were the good guys. But as I got older, I realized. The Steve’s were literally just trying to live they’re lives 💀😭
I had a world similar to this with my friends, we made a small 'castle' and spawned monsters outside, and fought them. We used magma as a barricade for the castle and horses to fight the monsters.
