Randolph and Alex were on scene of the boat crash, had the boat towed home,,then returned it to LE,,the 14th circuit, where he was a deputy solicitor, responded and retrieved Maggie and Paul's phones, then turned them over to colleton..his family had full access to the home after LE was done..and it was months before it was searched. Nobody gets that sort of treatment... the opportunity to wipe clean your messy details and all the info and connections that would burn many others along with you. I'll be surprised if he's even convicted of the murders. He will however, spend the rest of his life in jail on the financial crimes tho,if there's a single iota of Justice left in the world.
It's a shame someone couldn't dig and expose all these underhanded connections Alec had, that enable him and others like him for all these years......
Just goes to show, the Great and the Good..the Gentlefolk....the folks with MONEY seem to be afforded indulgences others less fortunate are not privy to.🤷♀️

Someone has dug in to all of the connections. I highly recommend the Murdaugh Murders Podcast with Mandy Matney. There is so much more than what can be presented in court.
On the day of his father’s death?
Cry more Jimmy
I don’t think they should send Alec to prison, he needs to be placed on house arrest if he is found guilty and made pay all of the money back that he scammed out of innocent people. 😮
No way. His house where he’ll hire a cook etc. he needs a cell.
Is death penalty a possibility in this state?
What's the portfolio that Busters middle name is 'Hymen'?
I wanna know. And did he?
$50 to his favorite charity if the so- called judge sez "Puddin' pop" while on air.
The Judge should know when third parties are present there is NO PRIVEDGE!!
SLED is incredibly incompetent.
“The crimes”….. jesus
I'm following this trial like a lot of you. I just can't wrap my head around how someone can murder their spouse and their child. So muich of that seems to be happening anymore. I know Alex is a thief. He's admitted that. I just so want to believe he didn't murder his family but it's not looking good.
Similar case where I live he also killed his in-laws and the dog. Plus defence is telling you he thought he could pay back the money and get back ahead.
If you can't wrap your head around it, then you don't have Dateline or 48 Hours in your TV lineup. It happens routinely.
Ok says the prosevutor. Have it your way. If you wont let me ask them about the meeting outside the presence of the jury then call the jury back in. Ill put everybody who was at the meeting under subpoena and see what happens in open court. You want to claim attorney client privilege over everybody at the meeting do that in front of the jury.
Watching the trial is interesting and educational. Reading the comments is just as good only on a comedic level. Some of the statements and replies to such boil down to wit. The statements and replies all have something in common when it comes to wit Some are quick witted while others are just plain dimwitted. Either way, it leaves me in chuckles at times.
Couldn't agree more. :)
Mary Gloede :
Were you forced to watch this video, forced to read the comments? You decided YOURSELF, to watch the video....the words you selected "wit dimwitted" to make comments regarding other people in my opinion makes you the Dimwit..
@@lukeholler4364 Of course I was not forced to view or read any of it. Yes, I decided all by myself to watch the video. Such silly questions you pose. Looks like I struck a nerve with you. You might want to read through many of the statements and replies YOURSELF and see if you can identify which ones are from those who think they are the super sleuths and really contribute nothing redeeming. Never mind, I do not think you have the capacity.
If it’s not protected he can do what ever brother Jimmie
This prosecutor gets on my nerves...no fair trial in SC
Are you drunk?
Any chance defense contend even if AM was at the kennels..this doesnt prove he was the killer? Just need 1 juror to hang the jury.
Then it could be argued why alex didn't get shot or killed . Makes no sense why all those bullets are flying and he is still alive but the 2 that were with him at the kennels are not .
Laughing at all the TH-cam lawyers here. Yall need to sit down

This family is so corrupt starting some years ago they think they can do anything and get away with it when you don't discipline your kids when they're younger when I get older they'll run all over you talk to you any kind of way do what they want to do I know all rich people I do not like this something how money and drugs have you doing criminal things SMH 🤔
What a bizarre request. He's grasping at straws it sounds like.
Oh he knows exactly what was said and wants it included in the upcoming testimony of whoever told him what was said.

I like this judge! I don't envy him this case.
The judge is obviously a pretty weak character. He's basically let the prosecution lead him around by the nose.
I’m sure that’s how he got to be a judge. 🙄
He's clearly letting the case play out and if he needs to step in, he does. If high powered lawyers don't have issue and no laws broken so be it. He wants to know himself and quint allow jury to hear certain things first. He's doing a good job here.
SC court appointed him did right thing because his experience with any murder trails and been on high profile criminal. I was impession there are nothing overturn coviction on appeal when he was presided. Thats why make sure anything smooth on record for appeal

Heard a lot about this crack defence team, but the truth seems to be running rings around them.
This prosecutor is reaching because they haven’t proved anything after 2 weeks
All these comments speculating about motive shows the prosecutors case isn't going very well.
100% agree...the amount of speculation demonstrates the prosecution hasn't proven guilt beyond a reasonable doubt
