- In Honor of the most horrific human being alive getting attacked in prison, I've pieced together the band's full Reading 2004 set! I'll probably find more rarities from the band if he actually dies this time. Lostprophets were one of my favorite bands as a kid, I loved the first three albums ever since my cousin gave me his CDs for my birthday around 2003-04ish. It absolutely devastated me to find out that the lead singer of one of my favorite childhood bands was one of the most horrific human beings in existence. Fortunately in this case; he won't receive a cent for any of this. Now just to pray the inmates actually finish the job this time! If you can't separate the art from the artist, that's totally understandable! This band just meant everything to me as a kid and it filled me with so much joy to see him finally receive some partial justice! Anyway, enjoy friends! I apologize for the quality of most of the clips, you have no idea how difficult it was to find better quality segments of this. Most came from the Kerrang live PPV broadcast on VH1, while the only two HD clips are from MTV Japan.
I don’t own the rights to this blah blah blah, property of visible noise and Columbia, whatever. Just make sure Watkins doesn’t get any more money.

Yes! Finally someone who was a massive fan of the band like I was, but doesn't try to use that fandom to excuse what that POS did!
I'm in the crowd for this one near the front. It was so sick. Still remember how mental (And low key dangerous) the wall of death for Shinobi was. I saw them on every UK tour they ever did after this (often multiple times) except ironically the very last tour. It's been a decade since he was convicted and it still hurts, and I still feel guilty. Not that he was convicted, but that I won't ever get to be in a crowd for one of these shows again, and the guilt comes from that feeling being but a mere minor inconvenience in comparison to the horror his victims suffered.
I've spent a decade trying to find another band I felt so connected too, and still haven't managed it. I'd give anything for them to reform with Jamie on vocals, but totally understand why they couldn't ever bring themselves to perform these songs again.
Will always have the memories though.
Hahah that’s why I wrote the disclaimer! They were such a damn good band! It feels like the biggest waste in the world to see such a colossal monster ruin it out of sheer evil.
Might be a little late for me to reply, but i feel the same. Unfortunately ive only found out about this band after the incident, because it was always balcklisted from the internet culture. After hearing multiple albums i came to the realization that no band ever made me feel such emotion as Lostprophets. Not even Linkin Park or Hoobastank. It's just my favorite band, and i wonder how it couldve been if they were still touring today. An even better alternative would be if Ian Watkins died of overdose before those allegations. Atleast he would have the same legacy as like Kurt Cobain or Chester. This is sad.

dios hermano, como extraño a Lostprophets, xq no simplemente cambiaron al vocalista, Ian Watkins en los ultimos dos albumnes no aportaba nada y era un cancer para la banda, mucho antes de saberse toda la mierda enfermiza que estaba haciendo atrás
Es que si cambiarían a Ian por otro vocalista, la banda ya no sería la misma y no tendría el mismo impulso sin Ian aunque lo intenten, ya pasó con otra banda donde los otros integrantes que eran de lostprophets y dicen que no es lo mismo, prefiero que la banda se quede disuelta y recordada cuando estaba Ian
His voice is strong here and he has great mic technique. But he’s beginning to struggle. I will surmise that this is the moment in life he is succumbing to bad influences of life. Last Summer is one of my favourite songs. What a waste.

@@Giratina1999 personalmente ian puede irse al diablo destruyo todo el gran esfuerzo de la banda, lee, mike, oliver, stuart. Pero es mi banda favorita aunque muchos lo odien yo defiendo el trabajo de los demás integrantes de la banda.
