I always just hated that when they released Moulin Rouge 2 (the music CD) that this was never on it... literally nearly a decade of frustration has been released in this comment. Thanks for reading.
There was a CD single of 'Come What May' (I don't know where you are - I'm in the UK - so I don't know if it would have been available in your country) & that had the LP version (it always annoyed me that it wasn't the one that's *actually in the film*), this remix & a karaoke (read: instrumental) version of 'Elephant Love Medley'. Still have the CD ( \o/ ), but lost the case I know not when. SO glad I put it in a wallet alongside Vols 1 & 2 of the soundtrack back in the day!!! #Phew
Ewan McGregor has a beautiful voice, it caught me off guard the very first time I watched the movie! (Similarly to hearing Gerard Butler in The Phantom of the Opera Film Adaption) This is truly a beautiful song in all of its' remixes, but this is among my favorites. Every time it puts me under its spell~
I didn't realize that this version of the song was a remix. It's the version that I always thought was the original and it randomly popped into my head an an hour ago and I'm been scouring youtube and spotify and sound cloud trying to find it and being real confused when I heard all these other slowed down "versions" and thinking 'this is not the song I listened to ten odd years ago..." Having now learned that the version I listened to as a teenager was a remix version, my struggles to find it tonight makes a little more sense. By the by, I've never actually watch Moulin Rouge the whole way threw, so I sort of assumed the version I knew was like the end credits version of the movie song.
i was like 17, was going through my first broken heart, this song used to play in the radio, it make me go all tears, now the only thing i can think when i hear it, is that my mom stays here with me a lot more years, when you grow you understand the important things. take care of your loved ones. also on other topic this remix cant be find by shazam :/

I know exactly what ermite means. My wife got it for the A side version, but I thought this side was much better ! Baz was robbed at the Oscars. His film is much better than ANY of the Lord of the Rings films. I love the book btw, probably the best book ever written in the English language. The films were a pure travesty.
