At 34:15, it`s a 3 second drop where he lands just fine. But in regular levels, if he falls down a pit, he dies and it takes less than 2 seconds for his shoes to bounce back up. Which means the drop lasted for less than a second. Gotta love it.

I don't care what anyone says, this is a beautiful game. I think the character models are stylized in a cool way, even if a detail or two was lost in translation (like N. Gin's bullet holes), but the attention to detail on multiple elements is class, like the small bits of the level in a portal that allude to what it'll be about! Almost like the level is leaking out of the warps, I love stuff like that. I know the OG game also had that, I just really like how it looks in both really, it's a detail I like to see in general.

If you jump continuously on the baby polar bear’s head next to the portal, it will eventually give you a bunch of extra lives. At least, it did on the old version.
Lol you make it look so easy! Have always loved the Crash Bandicoot series. I'm primarily an FPS PC gamer but sometimes I crave for something simpler and fun, although I have to say Crash is not that easy in places as it requires precise jumps and memorizing the track ahead as well as boss movement patterns.

In the original Crash 2, it's possible to get the red gem in snow go without having to take the alternate entrance, but you'd have to do a frame perfect slide jump spin leading into a belly flop to get it. N. Sane Trilogy raised the red gem so you'd HAVE to go through the alternate entrance to get it.
And that route is so hard in this version the original is smoother for some reason and you can cheese it with Crash but this one is harder to get him to do that
The thing about getting the 105% completion end screen in this game is that it's completely UNREALISTIC to expect someone to know where the various secrets are WITHOUT following some form of guide to know where they are in the first place!!
This is my no.1 game(besides Red dead redemption 2, Watch dogs 1 and Gta San Andreas) since my childhood it was made in the same year when i was born. When i play the levels 7 and 14 i Just collect the crystals and i am ending those levels through the Death route and collecting the Gem bcs its useless to break those boxes when u don't have them all yet.
Cortex has some secret dialouge if you exit a level without getting your first crystal. You can do it 3 times, and get a trophy/achievement from doing that.
The original version of Cortex Strikes Back was canon. The N. Sane Trilogy version is not canon because in the original version of Cortex Strikes Back, Crash doesn't get the speed shoes power-up til Crash 3: Warped, Crash's sister, Coco, was never playable, there were no time trials, no time relics and no time crates with numbers on them. I can say the same thing about Crash 1.
Those are just gameplay changes that doesn’t make these games non canon and these games are just remakes so I don’t think these games are supposed to be put in the original games timeline in the 1st place

The gem for breaking all boxes on cold hard crash is the most irritating one to get IMO. Also I think cortex was creepier in the original version.

Lol you make it look so easy! Have always loved the Crash Bandicoot series. I'm primarily an FPS PC gamer but sometimes I crave for something simpler and fun, although I have to say Crash is not that easy in places as it requires precise jumps and memorizing the track ahead as well as boss movement patterns.

I'm glad they added the crash 1 level end teleport jump it's always fun to position it so he turns to face you
In the original Crash 2, it's possible to get the red gem in snow go without having to take the alternate entrance, but you'd have to do a frame perfect slide jump spin leading into a belly flop to get it. N. Sane Trilogy raised the red gem so you'd HAVE to go through the alternate entrance to get it.
And that route is so hard in this version the original is smoother for some reason and you can cheese it with Crash but this one is harder to get him to do that
The thing about getting the 105% completion end screen in this game is that it's completely UNREALISTIC to expect someone to know where the various secrets are WITHOUT following some form of guide to know where they are in the first place!!

This is my no.1 game(besides Red dead redemption 2, Watch dogs 1 and Gta San Andreas) since my childhood it was made in the same year when i was born. When i play the levels 7 and 14 i Just collect the crystals and i am ending those levels through the Death route and collecting the Gem bcs its useless to break those boxes when u don't have them all yet.

Cortex has some secret dialouge if you exit a level without getting your first crystal. You can do it 3 times, and get a trophy/achievement from doing that.

The original version of Cortex Strikes Back was canon. The N. Sane Trilogy version is not canon because in the original version of Cortex Strikes Back, Crash doesn't get the speed shoes power-up til Crash 3: Warped, Crash's sister, Coco, was never playable, there were no time trials, no time relics and no time crates with numbers on them. I can say the same thing about Crash 1.
Those are just gameplay changes that doesn’t make these games non canon and these games are just remakes so I don’t think these games are supposed to be put in the original games timeline in the 1st place
