I just Implemented this method today, and it works so far. I'll update here if I have any problems.

hey @drbogger, thanks for dropping by the channel. By the way, if you want to have really fast InterVLAN routing with a single switch, I posted an improved design last January and it involves Layer 3 Switching. Check it out (link below) if your Omada has Layer 3 functionalities.

Hii, I currently have ER605 which doesn't support DPI and IDS/IPS, should I upgrade to ER7206 or should I wait little longer to see if they add it to ER605, also can you please make a video on 5.13.10 beta version of Omada controller and show how DPI works.

hey there @amansaroha4171, thanks for dropping by the channel. IDS/IPS still doesn't show up on my ER-7206 so I am not sure if it will be released anytime soon. I really don't use the beta software for TP Link, just a personal preference. When these features are released, I'll spend some time with them and check how they perform. Good hunting!

@@deadmeats The ER-605 v2.0 just got DPI support on the latest firmware update. I'm not sure about version 1.0 though.

heya@@drbogger . yeah, too bad, my er-605 v1 is already end-of-life so no support for IDS/IPS (hardware is probably too weak). For price/performance, I complain only a little :).

goodmorning can you give us how to use the qos gateway im having spike in online games o mobile legends. i having bufferbloat in my system

heya @jaimedelapenajr7982, thanks for dropping by the channel. just to clarify since I am not familiar with network bufferbloat term, are you having lag when doing online ganes? QoS might help but VLAN PBR, PPSK, or even 802.1x might be a better solution. I have QoS on my to-do list already.
      Good hunting!

@@deadmeats nice waiting sir sa video qos mo.. 🫰 medyo hassle lang tlga pag gaming ako kc pataas latency dahil isp ko is sim base

heya@@jaimedelapenajr7982 , for gaming, QoS may help but depending on the game specially i.e. RTS, FPS, MoBA (anything that requires fast, if not real-time response), QoS will almost always have no improvement if your ISP or internet connection have bad latency i.e. bad network in/out will become prioritized bad network in/out, meaning even with QoS, you will still die/lose/fail.
You can achieve a similar, result by bandwith-limiting your devices i.e. all IoT device can't do more than 1mbps download or PC1 and PC2 can only do 5mbps upload/download. But if you are really focused on using QoS and would like to try it out, I will provide two links that I use often when making videos:
      Options/Links:
      1. Chapter 4 > Transmission > www.tp-link.com/us/user-guides/omada-sdn-software-controller/chapter-4-configure-the-network-with-omada-sdn-controller.html#ug-sub-title-1
      2. Chapter 4 > Configuring Bandwidth Control > Pg 89 > static.tp-link.com/upload/manual/2023/202310/20231009/1910013510_ER605(UN)_UG.pdf
      3. Reach out to TP Link, submit a ticket if you have issues with your set up > community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/794?page=1
I do have a video in mind, but I recall when I was planning for this, I can't figure out how to make QoS a better option in a home-use scenario if the easier and more-user-friendly alternative is already available (as I mentioned, PBRs and Bandwidth Limitation, etc). I believe it's better for VoIP and similar services, but I am not very good with VoIP so this is why I still have this video in my to-do list but never got around to making it.
      Good hunting.
