Specially the Durian ice cream. Your girl was right eat Durian moderately bcoz it is high in cholesterol . as a Davaoeño I was shocked at 180 pesos per kilo.. its overpriced.. very opportunist.. its just 60 to 80 pesos per kilo - on season and 100 to 120 for off season

(of course she pays us for them, our boy is a Boeing Engr. and can afford them) side note, when I started to work at the Post Office, 1967, pay was $2.20 per hour and if I could make 5k a year I was doing good. Ryan started at Boeing in 2011 at over 5k a month and today some 12 years later he is making 16k a month. I was born in the wrong decade and with not enough math skills.

#4 Boy, just got back from walking the dogs, girls are in heat, male dogs are coming form all over and roaming around in groups of 4 to 6 or 7. I think this goes on for 2 weeks ? We had our 3 dogs fixed so no problems. We had a little Benjie type dog like the one in the movies. One day he was gone, no show the next day. I just knew some one had my little buddy. I posted a reward notice on the Safeway bulletin board, $50. reward. ( this was about 1980. Got a call from 3 blocks away, he was on their door step with several other dogs, their female was in heat. I gave the pre-teen girl $25. and was pretty pissed at them or our dog, don't know which. Another lovely story, I was maybe 14 or so, my parents had a couple stop by. THEY KNEW we had two male dogs and yet they bring their female dog into the house and she peed on the carpet. Boy was my mom mad, she was ready to kill the couple and there dog. Got another family gem for you. Another couple, husband worked with my dad at the PUD elect co., his wife was from Australia of all places, and this story is from 1948 or 49 so I was six or 7. This couple had two little girls maybe a couple years younger. They are sitting in our front room, all had a beer, dad had just finished putting down a new hardwood floor. One of the little girls picked up her mom's bottle of beer, walked over to out upright piano and poured the beer down the row of keys. Her mother said, " oh, you shouldn't have done that " as the beer drained down on the new floor that had not been sealed yet. I don't know if you ever saw your mom really mad, ( hopefully not at you ) I left the room and went to my room. Got a couple other good stories with this lady but will save them for another time. So much fun 😟
Geez. it's so frustrating to see people eat the worst variety of Durian for the first time. It's like you went straight hardcore for the first time. People usually start of with D101, or Puyat. But my favorite local variety is Duyaya. They're so sweet and creamy and not bitter at all.
you know how th check if pearls are real? just take it and scratch it to your teeth, if it is false it will feel smooth, if real, they will feel rough.
