So this battle was had TSons and Custodes battle with 1500 points. What battle size do you guys usually do for 40k in 40 minutes? 1000 points, 2000 points, or somewhere in the middle of those?
The way the Tsons player deployed his valuable units, read Magnus, right on the line was just asking for a clappening from the Land Raider and its contents...
The contrast to the contrasting scheme on the Sons lol. Everyone should paint their army how they want but part of the reason I like these videos is to see the beautiful paint jobs like on the Kairos model. Xmas Sons would be great to see in a themed matchup against Xmas Orcs 🧌🤶
I love that you guys added Sounds to Bridger's bad Karate impression. Also, don't feel too bad about the rules changes, they came out too soon and were absolutely sweeping. Even Datasheet changes, it's like a whole new edition already.
This proves y'all don't doctor the battle reports to make them more exciting, as I can't imagine a world where an editor doesn't want you to roll something back after Magnus is left in charge range on deployment, and is killed before he can't do anything. Zero screening for the centerpiece of the army! I'd have gone as far as to remind my opponent of the crazy risk they are taking in a friendly game.
And this, my dear Tzeench fellas, is why you do never place Magnus at the frontline! NEVER! no frl; he is just so much better at standing behind and doing his wizard stuff. He is no doubt one of the best, if not the best psycher in all of the tabletop. if yours gets killed while you are using him so near to the front, you deserve it, change my mind

This is pre balance updates. We typically shoot our games 4-6 weeks in advance of release as our editors put in a tremendous amount of effort into the edits. Still worth the watch, though even though some of the rules have changed.

But that also means there's at least one Thousand Sons sorcerer _on Terra._ In such close proximity to the Emperor's throne. Who knows what kind of shenanigans they could get up to? After all, the Changer of Ways always has plans within plans. Tzeentch wants it!
It didn't make a difference but you get 2 extra dice when you Tank Shock if the S is greater than the T of the target. Should be 8 dice rolled instead of 6 there.

Play On team! Hear me out: a game with maximum gravis space marines. A list with 6x3 aggressors, 3x3 eradicators, 3x3 inceptors, 3x5 heavy intercessors, 3 apothecary biologi, captain in gravis armor, Marneus Calgar, and the bolster discipline enhancement comes out to exactly 2000 points.
I know there was a balance update to points but this is still not 1500 points... Tsons list is 2065 points in new slate and something like 1900 in old?
