Hey Zach, could you please demonstrate how compatible this kit is with both the HG Ball and the Haropla? I've been wanting to make a kitbash with those kits
again speaking of Maschinen Krieger fiction Hollywood is attempting to make a movie adaptation of it but as of this year the project doesn't seem to go anywhere right now, it seems to be stuck in production limbo and not even a script is written.
Basically they bought the rights cheaply 'just in case' and if someone outside the Hollywood tried to make the movie they will sell him the rights for ridiculously inflated price, they do it with most of cool sf franchises worldwide, that's their version of patent trolling. EU actually got annoyed and intended to stop it by enforcing hard time limit on all EU franchises - if you don't make movie before time limit you loose the rights, I'm not sure whatever it was implemented though.
This is a Hasegawa kit so it'll be on a consistent rotation of restocking! You have better let backordering it from a Japanese retailer, but you can definitely get this or the other Camel release easily with some patience. The Wave releases can be hard to get once they sell out.
Can someone explain why Ma.k kits are so expensive? Please don’t say it’s the amount of plastic or licensing, as that wouldn’t make much sense. I can’t justify $110 on this kit. I can get a Zoids and a MG for this amount.
They're cheaper if you buy Japan direct. This one is more like $55 retail, but once it's shipped to USA and everyone along the process makes a profit price jump, it gets pretty high due to how few are in demand.
@@Stirghetti I’ve bought quite a few models from Japan, but damn if the shipping isn’t ridiculous. Over $80 US just to ship 4 Zoid models. Gun play the same way. Model building is starting to get expensive. I also build armor models and those prices are getting ridiculous as eell
@@mytdck1 it does suck, but covid instigated a wave of disruption on a very fragile system in shipping efficiency. Luckily it's not too bad if you pick up the MaK releases and some tools or option parts.

Funny thing about this kit, that fuel tank on the back is some disposable lighter, really shows the thought process behind the designs.
