For ps2 region lock thing, I had to boot with a dvd and then swap disk but it only worked with the old model(didn't work with slim). I eventually got tired and bought a japanese ps2.
I remember using TimeSplitters 2 as my boot disc for swap magic 3.8 disc swaps on my slim. Though I did change the lid for the disc reader so it had a flip top, but I messed up putting it on so i always had to stack some cases on top of it to make sure it didn't stop reading while playing.
@drpg4ever823 the bouncer, ridge racer 5, melty act cadenza, venus & braves, dragon shadow spell, gundam climax UC, and rage racer ps1 saw a guy selling these for super cheap like $3-$5 each and some dont even need japanese so figured why not
@@Opebin oh nice. yeah I think japanese games in general are much cheaper than american one. though sometime it can be surprising. I mean when I bought Wizardry llylgamyn saga on ps1, I found it for like 5$ which is real cheap but I guess that version wasn't known much back then and considering there are options to put most of the game in english...today it's worth a lot more, it's not extreme but it's not 5$ hehe.
LOL. off to a great start.
