Steins;Gate is one of 'those' animes of such quality and such plot development, that It truly pains me to finish the series. It breaks my heart that I won't be able to experience it for the first time again, because this show is truly one of the best anime's that I've ever seen in my life.
I was so bored and confused in the first and second episode, i was about to stop watching it, but then i remembered people saying it was really good. I continued watching it, and i loved it so much once it got more serious. In the end everything from the first episode made sense. Im so glad I kept on watching it.
Pretty much me except I actually did drop it at first (back in August). I started watching it again from the start a couple months later in October because I was told it was good by a friend and I finished it in 2 days. Honestly, it IS boring at the start but it gets exponentially better as you go on.

@@archer7762 Those are wrong as its half “Transliteration” not translation. I have no idea why on netflix for the english subs there is like only half or so of episode openings which have ALL sentences written as the translation.
I finished the anime 5 days ago. Now It's 2 am, and I feel like my life is meaningless. I feel empty as I try to fill the gap of my soul by watching other animes, but so far I cant find something as amazingly great as Steins Gate. Please make April come fast.
+Neo Torralba There are a few others that I continually watch the openers for. Fairy Tail's current one is mostly OK. I really like World Trigger's second opener. The Clannad and Clannad AS openers and closers had some really good ones too.
+Neo Torralba World Trigger is one of the better anime out there in my opinion. It currently ranks above Fairy Tail for me, simply because Fairy Tail's animation is really lazy and bad looking. If you end up liking World Trigger, also check out Log Horizon. Log Horizon is about being stuck in a game but I think it does it much better than SAO, simply because they discuss the really interesting parts of gaming and incorporate it in to the story line, and a lot of other things as well.

Piano Potato erased was amazing but not a masterpiece. If it had like 20 episodes or so, it would be a masterpiece. The reason is that the plot felt too rushed near the end and the whole mystery of the killer kinda ruined the experience for me. Besides that, it’s still amazing and I recommend it to people who are looking for time travel murder mystery anime.

After so long, this is still best anime imho. Good comedy, good drama, amazing characters, even more amazing plot. And the opening still makes me shiver.

I binge watched the whole series last Sunday. Such an amazing series that makes you want to keep watching with it's great plot, characters, and this most amazing of openings. Why did it take two to three years for me to finally watch more than the first episode?! O_o

I purposefully hyped myself up by delaying the watch of this series because I knew it would be fantastic, and I knew it would be my favorite anime of all time. I think it was like 2 or 3 years ago when I heard about it, but didn't actually pay much attention to it until maybe a year later (one or 2 years ago) and purposefully left it alone. Oh my GOD was that worth it
The sad part is that only Okabe remembers those three cherish-worthy weeks he spent with Kurisu. I feel bad for him. Too bad actually. To endure this whole thing is a pain. I feel sad for Kurisu and Okabe at the same time. Also we all too remember those 3 weeks not only him. PS: I just re-watch the whole season 1 in a single go. Undoubtedly it was a rollercoaster drifting through a whole bunch of emotionally intense experience. It is a masterpiece. Re-watching made me realise how precisely all the events have been plotted. You find many new 'unnoticed things when you re-watch a masterpiece like this one because you know what's gonna happen in the coming episodes. This anime truly is my second love, yeah Kurisu still remains number one!♥️😻

When i watched the first episode i didnt think i would like it so i didnt watch it for a while, then one day bored, i start to watch it and now it is my favorite anime, i remember wanting to go through the whole series all at once, even for most of the great anime i need a brake every so often then watch it, but this made me not want to sleep just to see what happens, and the twists that happen and the way it makes you feel, and the way that steinsgate0 adds on with his depression, it is just so good
An interesting reference in the opening is Kurisu extending the right arm. It's a reference to the Right Hand Rule used in math and physics to deal with changes in coordinate axis. In short, it's a way to locate yourself in space (or time in animes case) when you has a change in point of view.
Maybe Im overthinking this, but considering how does the sequence looks like, what if the meaning of that is not lokating yourself in space (or just location) but in time? I do know that the meaning is the location, but at the same time, considering the actual anime, it could be a thing :P

For me It's the bit where Kurisu experiences for the first time herself what Okabe has had to deal with by traveling all the worldlines trying repeatedly to save those he loves, seeing them constantly die and retry. She legit just has a fucking breakdown.

Is still the best anime even now. The way they portray Kyouma’s pain in that infinite loop is just so damn good that u can feel his pain. Trauma and pain makes a people better / stronger / go even further in life.

This is one of the few anime that I watched the opener every time as I marathoned the series.

+Neo Torralba There are a few others that I continually watch the openers for. Fairy Tail's current one is mostly OK. I really like World Trigger's second opener. The Clannad and Clannad AS openers and closers had some really good ones too.

+Neo Torralba World Trigger is one of the better anime out there in my opinion. It currently ranks above Fairy Tail for me, simply because Fairy Tail's animation is really lazy and bad looking. If you end up liking World Trigger, also check out Log Horizon. Log Horizon is about being stuck in a game but I think it does it much better than SAO, simply because they discuss the really interesting parts of gaming and incorporate it in to the story line, and a lot of other things as well.

Piano Potato erased was amazing but not a masterpiece. If it had like 20 episodes or so, it would be a masterpiece. The reason is that the plot felt too rushed near the end and the whole mystery of the killer kinda ruined the experience for me. Besides that, it’s still amazing and I recommend it to people who are looking for time travel murder mystery anime.

I binge watched the whole series last Sunday. Such an amazing series that makes you want to keep watching with it's great plot, characters, and this most amazing of openings.

PS: I just re-watch the whole season 1 in a single go. Undoubtedly it was a rollercoaster drifting through a whole bunch of emotionally intense experience. It is a masterpiece. Re-watching made me realise how precisely all the events have been plotted. You find many new 'unnoticed things when you re-watch a masterpiece like this one because you know what's gonna happen in the coming episodes. This anime truly is my second love, yeah Kurisu still remains number one!♥️😻

An interesting reference in the opening is Kurisu extending the right arm. It's a reference to the Right Hand Rule used in math and physics to deal with changes in coordinate axis. In short, it's a way to locate yourself in space (or time in animes case) when you has a change in point of view.

For me It's the bit where Kurisu experiences for the first time herself what Okabe has had to deal with by traveling all the worldlines trying repeatedly to save those he loves, seeing them constantly die and retry. She legit just has a fucking breakdown.
I was blown away by the sheer stupidity of the first 10 episodes but everything after that was something that I hadn't watched before. Loved it.

Is still the best anime even now. The way they portray Kyouma’s pain in that infinite loop is just so damn good that u can feel his pain. Trauma and pain makes a people better / stronger / go even further in life.
But if peoples cant take the suffering and pain they would kill themselves.

Watched the whole anime today and holy shit i cried my eyes empty. Im emotionally agitated cause of it, its just so fuckin good! Can't believe im 9 years late. I love this opening and never skipped it, lucky that whole steins gate has this opening.
