It’s wild that 21st century entertainment for me is watching two guys golf on the other side of the globe on TH-cam, how we get content blows my mind sometimes
This is the biggest hurdle in CA. I play a lot of twilight. My son gets a junior discount in most places but it’s still expensive. This doesn’t even include lessons or range sessions. It’s a very expensive sport but my son loves it. The group classes are glorified PE classes but my son has fun.
07:00 here. Beautiful Missouri fall morning and the day gets even better when the fellas drop this video. Gonna watch this then head to the local golf course/cow pasture and try to have more beers than bogeys. Life is good.
I think the on-going banter is great. I think the tracer is just fine. Maybe not perfect, but I don't think perfect should be the expectation. I love this series and look forward to watching them all.
Played there many times, lovely course and you're made to feel very welcome, they also take 2fore1s, don't know how true it is, but Lee Trevino played here one year as a warmup for The Open and the 10th was his favourite hole. Up the road to Alnwick is also a decent course at a affordable price
Looked out at the weather today, tried to convince myself to get out and play. Insisted to myself it wasn't cold and would be fun. Then had to go out to the car and thought bugger this it's freezing. So went to top golf instead, drank beer, ate burgers and churros under lovely heaters while we played target golf. We had a great time. It will never take the place of real golf but as a day out with kids and grandkids it was great if a little expensive. Besides this time next week I'll be in Spain to play some warm weather golf. I won all three games. No participation ribbons in my family lol. Kids and grandkids beat me at anything you can be sure they earned it. Life's full of hard knocks, consider these defeats a lesson kids 😂😂😅
Golf is similar to other businesses; the best attempt is made to suck as much money out of your pocket that is possible. On the flip side, spending as little as possible to sustain the business. In our world, efficiency is the goal. If the business is less efficient than another business, the investment will trend towards the more efficient business. At some point the less efficient business will die. In my local area in the US, at least 3-4 golf courses have shut down because the owners of the property sold to housing developments. A housing development is way more profitable than a public golf course. So after the homes are built, there will be an increase in the population of golfers, yet now there are less courses. So using basic economics, costs to play will increase due to supply and demand. There was a local course near me. It’s nothing great. It used to cost $825 for an annual pass. Now that same course is $1700 for that same pass. The course is not significantly better than it ever was. My whole point here is that eventually, golf will become a well-off person’s game once again.
Some scorecard errors by Bobby on the video. 14 and 15. Bobby too busy thriving those Kit Kats! Haha! Great video guys. So many memories at Sea Houses growing up with family from the North East. Howay the Lads!
Went up to Northumberland and played Dunstanburgh and Goswick, but stayed in seahouses , course looks decent. Goswick was different level and was pretty cheap too. Think it’s about £650 for full membership which is amazing
We are lucky in northeast apart from goswick green fees reasonable . Bamburgh probably one of the most expensive. Must plays are eyemouth. Dunstanburgh and foxton( Alnmouth). My course Newbiggin £30 in top 200 on 2022 .the challenge is the wind
Daily work and obligations still have me limited on how often I get to play. It does not help that the inflation in the US has affected the cost of a round of golf, EVERYWHERE. I have put some time and work improving my training area at the ranch. I have also been practicing more! What do they say, the more I practice the luckier I get?
By far the most enjoyable thing on TH-cam but I agree about the tracer, finger out Bobby 😂 recently spent a few days in Northumberland. Stunning place.
Great series. Think you missed a trick not realising you shot a 59 in windy weather. Proper golf banter is a joy and why I love the game. Keep up the good work and happy to host you guys at JCB golf and country club anytime.
I drive for Uber part time in the US for extra money. It used to be for golf and travel, but lately it helps pay for groceries… I haven’t golfed in months because I can’t afford it “living” in California.
I love the vids in this series. I'm lucky enough to live not that far from Seahouses, it's a good course and for the money it's a bargain. You should also try Alnmouth Foxton if you are in the area again. Those islands you referred to are the Farne Islands, the red and white lighthouse is on Longstone. Holy Island is further north nearer to Goswick.
Just got back from northern Michigan. Was golfing some of the best courses in the states, like sundance at A-gam-ing, for under $45 with a cart. The off-season is the best. You should come to Michigan sometime.
Somebody made a comment on You Tube on the 17th which I presume was derogatory. I watch these videos on a daily basis and enjoy the content . Think you are doing a good job . Ask Bobby fir a pay rise !!
Not watched it yet but will give it a presumptive like and thumbs up based on the title alone. Greed! the root of all the worlds problems. How much does anyone need FFS?
I can't speak for golf in the UK...or even other places in the US. But it exploded in this area in 2020. Courses closed down for the first month or so of the pandemic, and then opened, since golfers are rarely closer than 6' during a round (but everyone was supposed to use their own cart, or else walk). With it being one of the few recreational activities that was largely unaffected, a LOT of people either started golfing or got back into golfing, and it's been difficult to find open tee times ever since, unless you're booking your tee time online 2-3 days in advance... Golf's not dying anytime soon around here...
Enjoyed the edit bobby. Love the banter between the 3 of you & finally Chris has returned to the Rossi!! Once you play a Rossi, is there ever a better option?Cheers lads
Love this series James can't wait to see it all the time. PS the tracer was a lot better, don't take it to heart mate not a big deal cheers be watching you next time.
Guys...the scores on 14 and 15 were inverted, the final score was the same in the end. The graphic showed a 3 on 14 when it was a 2 and a 2 on 15 when it was a 3, its a wash, just an editing error, everyone calm down.
I watch the vlog where you cashed the driver in and chose to buy iron set plus driver wedges and putter im think the 2 vlogs are put out the wrong way round.?
Affordable golf? try Eastbourne Downs, £19-£28 per round dependent on time and day, 1908 club, 6800 yards par 72, always in good condition, just occasionally a tad windy, by the sea dont you know
It shows how strong golf in Northumberland is. Seahouses is for me, one of the weakest in the area. There’s nothing wrong with it, but the majority of courses in the area are better imo.
Chris Dennis is the most Yorkshire of Yorkshiremen ever. Even draws his sentences out as if he’s saving energy like it costs money. Utter class.
It would be great to see some of the places you stay in for the evening and the banter
Thank heavens for Bobby! He keeps you two honest
It’s wild that 21st century entertainment for me is watching two guys golf on the other side of the globe on TH-cam, how we get content blows my mind sometimes
Beautifully shot and edited Rob. Well played James/Chris. Series is one of the best, got me back into golf. Thx for costing me a fortune amigos
The tee shot on 5 when James says I don’t know but the sheep go running!!😂
Played sea houses a few years ago, lovely golf course. Loving these videos. Chris is bloody hilarious
@@williammay5373 dry as a bone, his humour. Love it!
James, i see that fade is almost gone. Nice!
And your putting is fantastic! Ping??

Hey you guys should post the entire list some where, I would love to see it in its entirety. Love the videos! Keep them coming!
Absolute love this series banter great golf and some other golf lol
Top lads these pleasure to watch ❤
The quality of these videos just gets better and better. This is my favourite course vlog series to watch 👍👍👍
This is right up there amongst the best series on TH-cam. These make Sundays in the same way the GM Hidden Gems make Mondays tolerable...
Great series…also enjoyed you taking down Alex…you and Chris taking on Alex and a mate of his choosing would be a good watch….
07:00 here. Beautiful Missouri fall morning and the day gets even better when the fellas drop this video. Gonna watch this then head to the local golf course/cow pasture and try to have more beers than bogeys. Life is good.

Both of you, and Bobby, are so entertaining 👍

Great video gents and a course that I’m looking forward to playing sometime. One thing though, check your score for hole 15……🤔🤔😆
Great viewing, thanks. It felt like shooting a low score was secondary to having a good time. Good to see. Very chilled.

this is exactly what the manager told me a few years back when Gettysburg Country Club re-opened. It's going back to exclusivity as it was 50 yrs ago.
£465 at Seahouses.
Some scorecard errors by Bobby on the video. 14 and 15. Bobby too busy thriving those Kit Kats! Haha! Great video guys. So many memories at Sea Houses growing up with family from the North East. Howay the Lads!
I was just saying too myself earlier in the video, how much I liked your tracer.
Really enjoy watching this content. Thank you gentlemen.
Went up to Northumberland and played Dunstanburgh and Goswick, but stayed in seahouses , course looks decent. Goswick was different level and was pretty cheap too. Think it’s about £650 for full membership which is amazing
£80 round

Brilliant again fellows, well done. Really enjoyed.
Delightful….. did they close down the course for you? The Delightful tour rolls on!
Bobby needs some love after another round of being ragged on, I think your shot tracers are brilliant Bobby, Keep em coming. :)

Brilliant series. Seahouses is a great little course. Great homemade food in the clubhouse, shame it wasn’t open
Bobby the human dustbin 😂
Great vid chaps.... Still trying to find the Coxmoor vid as it is very local to me..... Any pointers fellas......

I can’t agree with your first statement more. Affordable, good golf courses. Same here in the USA.
Somebody made a comment on You Tube on the 17th which I presume was derogatory.

Ask Bobby fir a pay rise !!
I can't afford to play unaffordable golf.
Not watched it yet but will give it a presumptive like and thumbs up based on the title alone. Greed! the root of all the worlds problems. How much does anyone need FFS?

Another enjoyable round boys. Windy as heck out there.
Hiya Robbo, I do enjoy your games with the ‘Jack Dee’ of golf!
Some say he doesn’t even smile if you buy him a bag of Haribos.
Regards,
Dazza. 🇬🇧
Bobby has more holidays than Judith Chalmers
Like everything since we became "rip off Britain," most things people enjoy are unaffordable. Beer in the pub, golf, driving cars, a weeks shopping.
Enjoyed the edit bobby. Love the banter between the 3 of you & finally Chris has returned to the Rossi!! Once you play a Rossi, is there ever a better option?Cheers lads
Best tracers in golf in this video, dunno what that comment is going on about
I live in Western Pennsylvania and the cost of golf green fees is getting pricy. There are cheaper options and you just have to pick your poison.
£35 Monday to Friday in the summer at Seahouses. £20 midweek in winter. Great value.
That was a 2 on 14 and 3 on 15.
Thats what i thought
Such great stuff, nice job ......only thing is where the hell are you ?
Love this series James can't wait to see it all the time. PS the tracer was a lot better, don't take it to heart mate not a big deal cheers be watching you next time.

Poor Bobby, having to put up with you two.😂😂
I watch the vlog where you cashed the driver in and chose to buy iron set plus driver wedges and putter im think the 2 vlogs are put out the wrong way round.?
Favourite channel on YT...
What type of temperature was it the day you played? You look to have lots of clothing on? tks
I would love to play golf with Chris he is so child and just takes everything in his stride
a little bit Toyota Celica....Life is fun
Quality again 👏
£140 for winter membership is amazing value
Affordable golf? try Eastbourne Downs, £19-£28 per round dependent on time and day, 1908 club, 6800 yards par 72, always in good condition, just occasionally a tad windy, by the sea dont you know
But is it in the top 101 to 200 courses in the country?
Fair enough that you point it out, but it's not what this series is about.
@@SteveFromStockport no idea, judging by some of the courses they have played, it should be
@@SteveFromStockportjust checked an no its not, but nor is this course?
Hmmm...I wonder if J and C have made a mistake
I pursuade my wife to walk the dog on Mondays so i can my weekly shot of Next 100.
I think this course needs some nicer flags, the scenery and course have everything else to make it upper tier.
So do links courses mean less trees and obstacles?
Where on Dartmoor are you playing?
Loving the Bobby
Crikey ! was the the Rev Ian Paisley on 15 ? 😂
Haddock is sweeter with smaller flakes both good
It looks like winter there..
It shows how strong golf in Northumberland is.
Seahouses is for me, one of the weakest in the area. There’s nothing wrong with it, but the majority of courses in the area are better imo.
Your tracers are good
What's going on with the birdie on the card on 15?
Not a bad score at all for such a windy day and Bobby's interference.
Hey James does Chris wear his bucket or bobble hat while you're in the sauna drinking beer 🍻🥵
Great series
James. What? No shorts today?
Wasn't 15 a par? 😅
Chris's commentary is as dry as a Martini (shaken, not stirred). Chris and Big Al need to get together for a video as well!
15th hole was down in 3 not 2???
Hole 15 you got par not a bird.Just saying.
It’s obviously supposed to be a 3 on 15 and not a 2. It’s my mistake when doing the card. So -8 total not -9.
But you also had a 3 on 14 and it was a 2, so still -9! It's all good!
But a 2 on 14? James doing the putter in his belt routine
Did you get the Chippy Tea??
Disrespectful saying Sally Gunnell......
Away ten bobber
8 under 3 on hole 15😅
And they scored a 3 on 14 when it was a 2. Just a graphical error in the edit, same score in the end
Where’s the sun when you need it?
No doubt im off the pace but what happened to Laura?
Motherhood I'm guessing!
Unlucky today guy’s
15th was a 3 not a 2 by the way lol
Omg probs the worst course in the area in my opinion found it extremely dangerous, nearly got hit at least 3 times . Shame really
What is this sh!t on Bobby Day...?😅
Most good golfers put a 3 on the card when they take 3 shots. Hole 15?
It’s an accident
They put a 3 on the card on 14 when it was a 2 so....
Just a suggestion, put a picture of the scorecard on the video, will show the name, address, phone number and email. Also the yardage would be good.
