I relooked at some photos, and it appears they have a tinge of blue on the back. One thing for sure, they're cohos. Nice if we had a tug or two from a Chinook. Get em next time.

yes blue backs which are young coho and 50 years ago we would have a blast fishing for them in bowzer bay in march north of nanimo
Cohos are really fun. Love how aggressive they are. Usually, none stop when cohos also 😊
