    This is a brilliant and entertaining watch as always, really appreciate the insight into the shopping experience as a whole and nice that you including the lift up one of the towers as the full experience. Loved it. Jealous that you have one of those mini builds as that’s rather cool. Hope your keeping well.

    Loved that you had lunch afterwards with Fred, was weirdly (or is it sadly) sat watching his vid whilst I am wearing same t-shirt as 2 of you in the vid. I was lucky enough to be bricksets rep at the Birmingham store press/media evening when that opened and oddly via day job also had a tour of Battersea PS a couple of years when it was a building site about to start the transformation, no lift back then it was ladders and scaffolding.

    • @iainsbricks
      @iainsbricks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Graham. The lunch was fairly impromptu - myself and Tom, who went up in the lift just happened to bump into Fred and another guy just after we had finished at the lift. We all went back to the Lego store as we could see they were giving out tiles to people who hadn't even bought anything! After that we are all hungry so went fir lunch 😁 Nothing sad about wearing a Lego Tshirt.

    I went here a month late and asked if they still had the miniature battersea powerstation models they gave away, i was even willing to pay for it. Sadly they didnt have the bricks anymore but they did still have the instruction sheet for the build and im already so happy i managed to still get that ^^ i still got it for free aswell

    The views look good from the top of the chimney, when I go to that Lego store I’ll have to have a go on that. Was it free to go on that Lift 109 experience or did you have to pay and if you did how much was it?

    • @iainsbricks
      @iainsbricks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Barry, it's worth having a wander around the whole of the Battersea complex as it's like a mini city there. Lift 109 does cost £15.90 for adults and you do have to book in advance, but there are plenty of spaces each day. Great views though.

    and pick up used gear i pop it to lego shops the numbers are down big time say around 10-11 am
    i used to go to watford one i know why they never reopen it in the day times sell were bad
    they told me the shop was going along time ago they said they are re working the shops in the town and he
    was leaving to find a new job he was a boss in the shop and his lady worked for lego as well
    i have to come from bracknell on the train this why i cut down on parts it all ad up in the end
    and space is the thing as well i know you drive i find it is better to sell on brick link
    i was getting stopped all the time by lego fans yes i used to sell alot on line parts at low prices for the one's with no money
    my site was on fire lego has gone cold now set sell well because star wars i am a blake's 7 star trek man

      Hi Bob, thanks for your comment. I've not seen Blake's 7 for ages! Would be good if they did a Lego set, but probably unlikely as it's only probably known in the UK
