Nice video but one other dont I would add is dont buy anything in the kabab places in the old city, I Paid 140 shekels ($38) for a kebab and beer at a kebab/shawarma place near Jaffa gate yesterday, completely overcharged, I would recommend dont buy anything in that old city if you can do without as another trader tried to charge $5 for an apple.
Well said. Also the IDF, the guys have to do three years duty and the girls two years duty. Yes dress conservatively and modest. If you want a licensed tour guide, research the tour companies in Israel. You are right research before you go.
Very interesting I've been to Israel many times and the Western Wall many people wear shorts, and many couples holding hands, maybe in Iran or Saudi, but not in Israel, Palestine, jordan,Egypt. Wrong info lady
Yes. We r considered one of the safest on the planet. Just use common sense practices learn the mores before u go somewhere and don't be intimidated by the idf.they are very approachable from an American of Israeli background
@Just musings, God's Timeless Blessings. Genesis 12:2 is an interesting fact. Genesis 12:4 counts Abram as being 75 years old, and Genesis 12:3 is when " I will bless them that bless you and curse he that curses you and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. " From anyone of those time points, it's close to 1900 centuries, beginning with Genesis 12:1 to Jesus Christ and Paul in Galatians 3:8, where he's admonishing the bewitched Galatians around year 62 s.d. Fast forward to 1983 when the late great Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein began proclaiming his ministry on Genesis 12:3 and the Isaiah 58 promises. Prophetically speaking, that 1900 centuries to 1900 centuries seems too parallel close to not being a God timed occurrence. Another small similarity, Abraham lived right off the road from the ancient King's Highway root that connected the cultural worlds of his day. Then arrives Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein who soon began proclaiming his ministry through the Christian Television broadcast system that crisscrossed the world cultures of our day. Just an acknowledgement for today. God bless you on your journey!!!
You mentioned above that Jerusalem is the center of the Christian and Muslim faith but you I guess "forgot" to mention that it is first and foremost the center of the Jewish Faith (Judaism DID predate Christianity and Islam!)
Yes sure but you had and still have palestinan arab jewish people so its the country of all religions like in the past and nut only one religion state like israhell
I'm returning for my second visit in April. My advice as well, keep your political opinions to yourself. Avoid discussing politics. Israel and Palestine are two of the most beautiful countries in the Middle East.
Great video but you're being too nice. People need to know straight up when it comes to this city that they must be respectful in all forms and know where they are going because the reality here if they're not, can get them injured or worse. From an American of Israeli background. Jerusalem is the holiest city on earth and the most problematic. A what can be considered as a harmless mistake elsewhere here can literally get u killed. It's the best place on earth where all are welcome but be smart
Calm down. God's name is not in THIS Jerusalem yet, that's why there's a possibility for the negative response of being here. The Day when the LORD comes, we wouldn't have anything to worry about then!
Thanks!
Thanks so much!
Very helpfull. Thanks.

What's the name of the two things she recommended for finding a guide? Something called Clip (?) and something else (?)

Hinduism pre-dates Judaism so i guess that means its the best 🤔
@@bartstorm380 heck... For that matter maybe Marduk beats them hands down
@@bartstorm380 it’s a pagan religion primitive religion does not better Judaism that’s a fake history. Their fake books say that
