I love that you are on a huge Incremental kick. I was worried that Orb of Creation was so good that it ruined incrementals for me forever - but your videos bring me hope, Wander :)
Fun little foray into incrementals, definitely feels like the dev getting a feel for the style he likes before he moved on to developing Tower Wizard. I mean it's an incremental without a loop system, almost a proof of concept at that point. Very interested to see more of Tower Wizard when it full releases, I like his style.
The dev, Barribob, makes a lot of short free idle/incremental games over on itch. Highly recommend checking out some of his stuff on there. There's a cool one about crabs gathering treasure on a beach without getting washed away by the waves that I particularly like.
I wanted to see if I could beat it before you so I downloaded it about 2 minutes in and left your vid running while I tried keeping up with you. It was fun since you would choose something different from me and I managed to still keep up but in different ways such as focusing on the spectral arrows last while getting the skills on left and center branches first. My time was 47:28 and i almost synced ending with the vid but missed it by about 3 seconds
I really wish there were more good Digimon games as well. We finally got one with the somewhat recent Cyber Sleuth but still. Instead of Path of Exile, if you have the funds to buy it, Last Epoch is one I'd recommend. They already said they won't rely on AI. The game mechanics are enjoyable.
Portal arrows are the best. They gain 10% damage for every extra magic point you have. Once you unlock and complete the magic tree, the arrows are unbeatable. Which is why i prioritize magic affinity
Well, once you complete the magic tree the game is over anyways. But yea if you play past the end goal, the Portal arrows do indeed outpace all other arrows. I wonder if beelining straight to the portal arrow skills and than hording all the magic points is a valid strat.
@PadaV4 I've shaved about 10 minutes off my time. Basically do the bare minimum to meet all the other stat requirements quests and whatnot and when magic becomes available I spend all my free time on that. Although when you are in the magic tree prioritize skill exp
Personally i spec-ed into ice arrows since it said they hit multiple targets and i saw it even scales with crit. For a while they were my highest damage source, as it's just solid 400 a hit to all 3-4 targets + can crit + multiple crit damage increases, so it just hit everything really hard. Spectral arrows were also pretty decent, though i went for them near last. And then.... portal arrows.... dear lord allmighty portal arrows, true nuclear deterent. Also the dps meter is average over a minute or something, so buying an upgrade that doubles the damage does not instantly double the meter, but increases it over time, kinda why ice arrows were quite nice even with the missing 2 upgrades, near the end, with them they'd have probably been roughly equal to the other highest dps arrows or even way stronger.... except portal arrow.... 365 or so unspent magic = one-shot.
Finally an incremental game that is on Steam again and "Wizard Tower" is coming too or should I say Wizard Tower is becoming a FULL Steam game as announced by the dev. Not like most of the other ones on itch etc. or the ones wich are pure browser based without any achievements etc. don´t really like these.

That's a pretty good way of enjoying these type of things.
I also race him lol. Took me a few minutes longer
First time I've played a game before wander
Didn't realise this was an hour long until I finished watching lol great video

i really appreciate what you said about not covering games with ai-generated art!

I’m quite surprised there is no xianxia incremental games yet cause it fits so well with their leveling system lol
It was a pretty fun game.

I played this a few weeks ago!
Huh, I'm surprised you haven't covered this game until now.
U should try poke clicker is more on the older side
Didn't you unload this before? Or am I thinking of a different youtuber?
if you watch dangerouslyfunny then you might have seen it already
Sifd made a video about this game 2 months ago
@@theconney1512Along with Intern. Those two and Blitz usually tend to overlap
He did, 4 or 5 weeks ago
YEAHHHH WOOO MY COMMENT WON
DISCOMBOBULATE

cool
first? Idk either way I'm loving the incremental game rush haha
I’d like to see you play Revolution idle
That game has huge walls of do nothing that kind of suck late game. These games start to fail when there isn't something or anything to do.
I know the endgame sucks, but you wont get there with footage for a 50 minute or 1 hour video . The kinda play this youtuber shows games
HAHAHA SOUP!
