Really lovely video and topic. I became a homemaker last fall when I got pregnant with our first baby. Currently struggling with feeling productive and accomplished. All the women around me are in the workforce or at a different life stage. Even though they don’t criticize me, I still feel isolated and unimportant sometimes. Keep up the Christian messaging, it’s encouraging even halfway across the world 💖

Day in the Life filmde😆
De video die er later vandaag opkomt is ook meer day in the life achtig trouwens😊

❤... Always love your videos Stephanie...always very encouraging. Although I've personally believed for some time now that being a wife, a mother and a homemaker are three of the most important roles that a woman can have (and be blessed with), it has still taken a while for this to really sink in to me deeply, and I still need to be reminded from time to time just how important these roles are. It has also been very refreshing to hear the message that God thinks these roles are very important also, from other Christian women, like yourself, who have studied/study the bible. I have really struggled with this issue at times in the past, which used to cause me certain grief, but I'm much better about it these days...I know that I'm not alone in my boat now (even though practically every woman I personally know has a paid job outside the home), and I believe that this is in God's plan for me. Thank you Stephanie, for being here for women like me, and for the good work that you do. 🙂👋

❤...Thank you Stephanie for taking the time to reply. Yes, we homemakers sure do need to hear this message over and over again, as these days the world is always telling us otherwise. I live in Australia and was born in the mid 1970's, when being a stay at home mum was still in fashion in the regional (not big city) area we live in. When my Mum was a young woman, the general trend for women, in the area, was to finish Year 10 at school, get a paid job, then leave that job once you got married, and stay at home, to raise a family, etc., whilst the husband remained the breadwinner. It was whilst I was a young child, that this trend started to change, with women getting back into the workforce (probably once all the kids were at school). Although my Mum did do a voluntary job for years, before she was eventually paid, she was always at home before and after school, for my sister and I. Of course the introduction of childcare centres, catapulted this change (of women remaining in the workforce) as well, and now a few decades later, my, how things have changed...
Although I still was in paid work after I got married, once we had kids (about 10 years later), I left the workforce, became a S.A.H.M., and have stayed at home since, even though both my kids have been at school for a few years now (I know that I've been very blessed to have both a good husband, and financial situation that has allowed this). But yes, where I live, full time homemakers seem as rare as hen's teeth these days. Previously, on a rare occasion, both my kids have actually requested to go to a Childcare centre, as it looked so fun, or because a good friend went there. How sad is that ?...That only added to the mother's guilt, that I had experienced, even more. One thing, I'm also very blessed that I have made a good friend (in our area) later in life, who also stays at home, although she does help her husband run their family farm as well. She's actually from Sweden (from the opposite side of the globe to me 😀😀) and is about 10 years younger than me, but because we both share the similar situation of staying at home, etc., we have a fair bit in common, and get on well. It's great hey, the people that God can bring into yout life.
Anyway Stephanie, sorry about my lengthy reply to your comment...have a great day, and I'll look forward to seeing your next video. 🙂👋
P.S.- HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family for 2024. God's richest blessings to you all.

Ohh no need to say sorry! I love reading your respons! I think your story is very similar to how it went in our country(the Netherlands). Society really made it so easy to work for women and honestly so hard to stay home. We live on one income and it is so hard with 3 children.. I wish I was born in the 50s😅
And I can totally relate to the mom guilt for keeping the kids home. We homeschool too and sometimes when we walk past a school they see all the kids playing outside and ask to go to school too. Makes me so sad! But when I explain it to them they quickly understand and want to stay with me😉
Thank you for responding! I love connecting with my audience. Otherwise it can quickly become just a number. I want to connect and reach people for the gospel, not just numbers🧡
And you too have a very blessed 2024!
