The way Bones tells the story feels so magical or hypnotic. Maybe it's his mannerisms, the musical score, or the way his actor carries himself, but it has this weird lulling effect to it.
And his anger toward Nebbercracker, even as a teen, he still really hated the man and when he thought the old man was dead, he took whatever anger he had against him on his lawn, like wishing he could step on him in the the same lawn.

I like how both this guy and Skull are stereotypical "losers in their twenties" yet they are both like the classic mysterious character in slasher movies who "has seen too much and actually understands the threat that's coming" having their own speech about the monster as well.
