Lisa's story

Lisa had a summer several years ago that would change her life forever.
At the beginning of this life-changing summer, she entered the maternity ward at Prince Edward Memorial Hospital for the very challenging, long-laboured birth of her first child.
At the end of the summer, when she was given the okay to start training for a race, she was going for a run and was struck by a car that resulted in severe injuries.
