Not sure if you can answer this, but I just set up ads for reels today. However, it already shows an “approximate earnings” amount the past 28 days. Do you still get this amount even though you officially set it up today? Each video the last 28 days shows a dollar amount. Not sure if they were already accruing and you don’t get paid for them until you actually do set up. I was thinking that maybe you don’t start getting paid until you first click set up.
You'll want to turn on professional mode for your personal profile but yes you can! If you use pro mode you'll be more like a personality for your brand.

So my question is, does Facebook pays retro per all the current views or from day of approved monetization starts the pay calc ? If you know? I have had people tell me they go to look for a specific reel, but can't find it. I know it is because they do not know to click on my Reels sub-section. Do you know why reels aren't showing on my main page as posts anymore? Is there a fix? Thank you in advance!
Many people are just earning PENNIES on reels with over 1k views. Pay was definitely higher when they were sharing the ad revenue on reels with the creators.
