Most of it is in the Phoenix area, there's a bunch of different suburbs they mention. The Grand Canyon on the other hand is on the opposite side of the state so I don't know how that got there.
Our first time in the states we went to Phoenix. Really loved it...Loved the weather, the shopping and off course Grand Canyon, as he said in the guide, i felt humble when i saw it. Scottdale was also nice to see. // Maria from Sweden
Right now is a good time to visit phoenix not in the summer because it’s really hot the winter is a good time trust me I’ve lived in Arizona for 23 years since I was six the winters are really nice and spring time now I live in Florida
I’ve lived in Phoenix most of my life. There’s more to do but most publiclty is lazy and just says shopping and restaurants. Then go to Sedona or something. For the physically active, hiking can be beautiful in many spots, horseback riding at South Mountain, bike riding around Tempe Mill Ave, balloon rides, theater. But sadly not the most interesting city by itself as a vacation spot. If going to the Grand Canton in the winter, it’s worth spending a few days. If you want night clubs, definitely a big selection. I’m over drinking but if that’s your thing it may sway your decision.
They could have listed about 50,000 other things to do in Phoenix and the Valley of the Sun. There is a reason over 3 million people live here. It's a great place to live, with so much to see and do.
I live in Albuquerque, NM, and I've been to Phoenix about four times. The place is nice for a two or three day trip, but any longer would get boring. If you live within seven hours or less of Phoenix go ahead and take a weekend trip.
I wanna move there so bad I stg !!! (coming from Miami) don’t even have to be Phoenix just somewhere in Arizona, imma get there in about 2 years I’m claiming it💪🏾🔥
I just came back from there. Was literally the most boring place I've ever been in my life!! Now, i am from Ireland so a lot of places are boring but this place was a nightmare!!
Thanks for this video. We live near to Phoenix but we’ve never been to some of these places. After this pandemic we would definitely try to explore Phoenix
Yeah... we have cool museums and even a road named after Frank Lloyd Wright. But that's not all; you missed everything great about Phoenix. Let the locals know you're foreign to the city (we actually enjoy the company of tourists,) some of the best might be just under your feet. I mean, literally underground lol
Can you please do a travel guide on Albuquerque? I would love to see a nice guide about the New Mexican city, and please include the balloon fiesta if you decide to make a travel guide. Thank you:)
I usto live in Phoenix my life growing up there I had alot of tough times like example the heat would be just killing me I've lived in Phoenix for 23 1/2 years
Paul Tortora To be entirely honest, that is your opinion. Many people like the charm of travelling around the city to find the local attractions. It's OK if it's not your cup of tea, but there's no need to be so pretentious about it.
Alma Martinez Okay that's fine, but, I wouldn't describe anything in Phx area as charming. Mill Ave in tempe used to be, but the chains came in and took over unfortunately.
Paul Tortora Well, to be fair, to many it's still a fun place to visit. It's not something awe-worthy like, say, Orlando or Las Vegas, but on a roadtrip it's a nice place to take a stop, there is a lot to see for those kinds of travels.
Well, living here for the past 7-8 years, I can assure you it’s not expensive as California. Extremely cheaper. However, right now the home markets are not that expensive so you can totally buy a 4 bed room 3 bath here for like a little more than a 100 grand. Groceries are cheap as well at Fry’s Food and Drug.. Gasoline $2.30 ~ish, and a gallon of milk is only a dollar and some tax.. In Cali a gallon of milk is almost 5 bucks!!!!!
"Where it is always warm" -- That is a false statement. Today (February 19, 2019), it is 35 F. Be warned. Phoenix winters are cold. The temperature rarely gets above 70 F during the Winter. If you want warm weather in the Winter, you need to visit Florida. In Lakeland, Florida, for example, it is 71 F right now. I do look forward to the triple digit temperature season (May through October), which is my favorite time of year.
Boring. Not enough of the actual city. Lots of indoor shots of museums and stuff. Yawn. Is there a downtown? Are there any actual neighborhoods? More of the actual city, please.
It is cool but why does neighbors have to be so stupid. Also some people that keep staring even for acting normal. Like i go for walks and cars will stare at me to make me mad like what I did. Also when I am standing at the front of my house, drivers will suddenly stare at me for everything like if they are going to rob are home at night. There's also people that suddenly start to get angry and sometimes even yelling or sometimes getting in fights. Like why do people become so mean so fast. Also the hot weather annoys me like why does it have to be the only location with horrible 120° F? Hope it could be fixed some day.
It does if you include areas that are way outside of Phoenix. Like Casa Grande. The only reason Phoenix racks up large population numbers is because it's spread out. Really spread out. if you took Phoenix and the main suburbs surrounding Phoenix you would get around 3.7 million people
DJR5280 Houses Houses and Houses I know! That's what makes Phoenix "boring". And the stores are all spread in every corner, I love Phoenix but I would really appreciate if they would urbanised the city instead of houses all way long. Building tall condos and blewing away abandonned warehouses in Downtown
Phoenix is NOT a touristic city that's why it's boring! It's a cheap, large suburb city with strange types of people. I went Downtown and I saw a man walking with overalls! Seriously
it definitely has some tourists attractions but not enough to attract non americans to visit. Many Non americans come to experience the great american cultures found in LA, SF, NYC, Vegas etc, so these r their first come to mind destinations. For canadian and other major citie americans, they would also think of seattle, san diego, miami, denver. So i have a hard time imaging many non North american tourists would actually intentionally want to visit here for holiday. Im sorry phoenix, there r just too much competition in AMerica alone
Isn't it a shame that Phoenix, America's fifth largest city, doesn't have enough amenities to justify its own video. Expedia had to go outside the city limits to unaffordable boutiques in Scottsdale, pottery making in Mesa, and even the Grand Canyon because Phoenix, itself, has almost nothing worth mentioning. Oh well, I guess the Phoenix City Council just doesn't care. In fact, the city motto should be, "Culture? Who needs it?" But kudos to the Phoenix Art Museum. Although unimpressive on the outside, the art museum is wonderful inside.
Phoenix looks like a boring city. Seems like there are not much things to do. The night life seem practically dead. Not good overall too visit Phoenix.
I love how people in the comments just judge our city as a negative when they never even been here and I seen TH-cam videos of people who visited/ moved here and they all had some positive stuff to say about it the only negative they had is the heat which is pretty understandable and it's not just older people saying that it's also young couples who are mostly from the eastern part of the U.S. and people from different countries
Phoenix is big enough to make what you want out of it. Too bad everyone thinks tourists want to shop and eat 24/7. If you’re an active/outdoor person, it’s perfect if you’re escaping a cold winter. It also has a lot of clubs if drinking with phony people is your thing. Scottsdale clubs are full of people who have more money than brains, and posers galore. That interests people for some reason.
