This study and many of the Czerny 740 are indisputably more difficult than many of Chopin etudes. it is a mistake on the part of music schools to approach studies in a disorderly way, be careful and I'm not speaking ill of Chopin 😛 I like his studies but it is time to accept that there are more difficult things.
Wow, this performance is stunning! Everything is so clear and fluent at the same time. Well, um, I am performing this etude tomorrow and it will be terrible...
if you ever perform on a proper concert grand please do upload it! its quite evident that the current piano holds back ur expression of the piece and i have no doubt that a larger sized grand piano would make your playing sound wonderful. Good luck for your major!
QUESTION: I've been taking piano lessons for almost 2 years, I always feel that my left hand is less "skilled" than my right hand (I think this is normal for beginners and intermediates), but do the hands eventually balance out as you progress? Do you feel that your hands are equally "skilled"? Does it take an equal amount of time for you to learn the same passage with your right and left hand?
@Isaac Lehrer my left hand does get better over time, the only problem (if we can call it that) is that it's always behind if compared to the right hand, it's just less comfortable to play with my left hand, and I just wanted to know if advanced players experience this too

But difficulty can't be pieces of value. True value of music is emotion and sentiment. Czeny, Chopin, and Moszkowski are all the great composers.

이곡 앞부분만 봤을 땐 '하... 또 -체-같은 초기 낭만 연습곡이구나" 했는데 뒤로 갈수록 미쳐날뛰는 화성이 자주 들었던 기억이 나네요. ㅎㅎ
이 곡 말고도 모슈콥 에튀드 좋은거 많으니까 좋은 연주 기대합니다(?)
