Hard pack with gravel and sand. It can be rough in places and solid in others. It’s a mixed bag. 38’s at least for comfort. I’ve ridden 28’s tubeless through there with no problems but also being careful on picking lines.
I should be getting my bike back from the shop Friday. In for routine maintenance. I will probably hit this Trail the same day. Weather permitting. I live in Groveland Florida which is not far from part of the trail. I figure I can enter around Ferndale in the montverde area. My bike is an Electra Townie. I don't know how that will do on this surface. I'll find out.
