I am blown away that Tracy Letts wrote “Killer Joe”; I had no idea. I saw it at the tiny Bush Theatre in London in the early 1990s (Nick Cave was in attendance the same night) and it was sensational.
I havent seen this play. Will look up now. Women in the Window brought me her. Dark story’s were great but at 50 years, I kinda craving more solutions to family dysfunction. I think the hurt and pain can be reduced if play shows audience strategies, actions, brave people standing up to family bullies and focusing on the most vulnerable the children, the family scapegoats, the broke, the disabled, the elderly . I think it’s remarkable it only took him 30 years to write August Osange Orange, his grandfather passed at 10, he wrote it at 40. I been so numb and in Stockholm. At 48, occurred to me the whole family, bullying, shaming, scapegoating, blaming and belittling nephew. Woke up intergenerational family scapegoating wrong. So wrote children’s picture book Scapegoat, and hoping Tracy Letts adapts for theatre. 🎭 As extended families, friends, teachers, children and grandparents need a blueprint, encouragement, how to step up and protect the family scapegoat kid.

You mean mid-90s.
There's no way this play was in the UK in the early 90s.
Not mentioned in this clip, but worth noting: a 19-year-old Michael Shannon was in that original cast.
I saw Killer Joe in that 40 seat theatre in Evanston

Yeah art is great for lessons like that!
I'm not reading a fucking thing you wrote: look at your grammar on this post. Atrocious.
You have a tenuous grasp of the English language, my friend.
