As a former foster kid I use channels like this to learn so much about motherhood and managing a house. Nice to hear I am not the only one that struggles with messy kids. ;) I have become a more confident parent impart to being able to learn from others! Hummm lol 😂 also I now want a cup of 🍵. Appreciate U. God knows my heart so well he puts people in my life I didn't even know I needed.
I hear you with appreciation for the washing machine - when we visit my husband’s family in rural China, they also hand wash all my clothes for me❤️. After that first experience, I not only appreciate my washing machine, but also hot shower and indoor flush toilet!!
I too like doing.laundry and feel blessed to have a washer and dryer!! I did enjoy Sunday service with Pastor Dishan, a great message!! I am thankful also for livestream!! Have a grear week!!
When my son was born 26 yes ago, I took 4 months off from work. On the weekend my husband would take care of the baby for one day so I could go out and do whatever I wanted. And that was nice, but what I realized is that sometimes I needed them to go somewhere so I could just be alone in my quiet house!
Don't be so hard on yourself Sarah you upload when u can we will all be here when u do. It's ok to miss a few with all the things you do and have going on. I'm sure everyone else would agree we can be patient. Much love to u and the fam jam
I think it's so amazing that you and Solo have so many friends of different cultures. It exposes the kids to so many things, while showing that we actually all have more in common than we think. Great video and by the way Sarah, you are looking great! Blessings to you all!❤🥰🙏
So many blessings. Sweet smiles. You make me appreciate washer & dryers more. I make my family crazy. I hang a lot of our clothes. Lol. Thanks for sharing
As a child in Texas on farm. I remember wash day. First wash board than a machine outside you had to put clothes through a a sqeezer and we took turns turning and you had to be careful not get hand caught. Always had clothes line growing up. Close in 20's got first washing machine. It was strange. Never had hot water always boiled water for hot. Had outhouse to. Life is different. My grandma freak at the thought of indoor bathroom. That was for outside. I remember Saturday baths. Bathing in the creek. Well everything inside now. Younger kids would not know what to do. Great video. Have a blessed day!!
Next to cooking laundry is my favorite thing to do. I crave for spring so I can begin the 6 months of hanging them out to dry. It’s a great time to be alone and reflect. I too listen to my scriptures during this time.
It is such a joy watching your children! They are delightful and are a reflection of you and Solo and the love y’all give to them. May y’all continue to be happy and Blessed.
Did anyone notice the ray of light (probably caused by the camera) that was shining right over Solo? It looked like he was being anointed by God! I love how all the kids are so grateful for the gifts. And pretty little Peace! She is so sweet! Thank you for sharing. This was a very nice day. And I'm glad that you have a washing machine, Sarah! And a dryer.
My grandma (mom to 10) during post-war times had the first washing machine on the block, it was hot cycle after hot cycle (almost to boiling) and multiple times a day too. Back then white cotton was worn a lot and used a lot (towels) and so it's how you kept it tidy and stain free (especially with teen girls IYKWIM). Anyway, my gran loved her chores because it was her "alone time". Rest of the time almost always a kid would be needing her for something. She was so thankful when the last two (close in age) grew up.
I'm also from Nebraska, and it's really bad that it's so dry. The ground is cracking and then the cold air is seeping deeper into the ground than normal and the irrigation and even the pipes running into houses from the streets are going to start bursting. We need moisture bad!
Back when we moved to Algeria(I was 13), people here mostly did laundry by hand but we had never done it, my mom insisted and bought a washer but they don't have dryers here even 19 years later. When I got married my husband tries to get me to wash clothes by hand and I refuse, I always tell him us Americans don't do laundry by hand, the only time I do is on vacation where there is no other option and its a lot with 4 kids (now 5) but since its summer its only tshirts and shorts.
Seth is a adorable little boy just looking for something to get into!😂 Hopes faces. I really enjoyed this vlog Solos face when your Pastor friend when he was saying how their tea was better then Kenya. I was cracking up
Did I miss about your mom's current challenges? I remember being in the Philippines for Missions work and everything done from laundry to cooking, to sweeping/mopping - oh, just everything put me to shame in what I thought I knew about in my skills as a young adult. The joy that was expressed was a true testament in the people's heart concerning life in general. I realized how spoiled I was in even the tiniest things of life. Thank you for opening my eyes to even another place in the world of others who love the Lord and serve Him! Gale Flowers
That laundry rant was the truth I currently have been hand washing my family's laundry for 4 but man when it's a family of five I just can't anymore.i got a machine on Sunday 😅
TIP for more time for yourself have all your 13 above kids do their own laundry from start to finish! schedule day and time for each to do their own. I taught my daughter's when they were about 12-13 to do the own laundry and now everyone including my husband does their own laundry and I do my own! Great responsibilities for kids gain independence quicker....
You and Solo have the most beautiful children! They are so loving and caring of one another. You guys are such a blessing and a beautiful reminder of how to live in the glory of God and how to raise children. Sending love and prayers from Oklahoma. Sandra♥️
Beautiful Blessings Sarah&Solo(psst I enjoyed your solo laundry room sounds holy, cleanliness that brings peace indeed😍...) and amazing children of our Almighty GOD bless you all. May you all continue on righteously.💞💞💞💖🤜💥🤛🙏Peace be upon you all. Salute.🕊
Have you done a house tour video? Interested how you organize and how many kids share a room! Family is 6 I can relate just a tad lol. Props to you and your family!
I used a wringer washer for several years, loved hanging my clothes up on speed dry. (clothes line) Nothing seemed more relaxing to me at the end of the day, after mowing & weedeating the yard but a nice hot shower & falling into bed with the aroma of freshly washed bedding. 😊 W & D
So enjoyed the pastor from Sri Lanka's sermon! In fact shared it with some of my friends up in Alaska and they said thank you. One friend wrote :Thanks Karen for sharing the TH-cam link. Good word. God, his word, and his purpose for us never changes! Amen.❤" Hope you get more quiet times to renew and refresh.
Sarah family and your physical/mental health comes first. Don't fret about how many videos or what days you get it out. Your TH-cam family cares about.
I too love my washing machine and would be lost without it. I hand wash all my dishes, I’m just used to that , so use my tumble dryer in the winter especially for towels and bedding. Xx
This spoilt Aussie learnt how to wash my clothes by hand in Kenya! I also have such a huge appreciation for my washing machine and dryer with a family of six. Hand washing is hard work 😓
Hi from the Uk! I'm fairly new to your channel and I'm really enjoying it! I've been working my way though all your videos and yesterday I watched one when you were saying that if people watch all the adverts it helps you out more.. I didn't realise that, but that's what I'll be doing from now on! Keep the videos coming!! 🙏❤
Yes having a washer and dryer is a blessing. I’ve had times in my life were I was without them, but I still hate hate hate laundry 😣 I keep telling my best friend that I hope I live to see the day where they have robots that can do laundry completely for you from beginning to end. 😆
My greatgrandmother, despite the technology and the means to purchase a washer and dryer, washed her clothes on a washboard and hung out them to dry. This lasted thru the 1970s
Girl don't feel bad..my mom did my laundry all my childhood. She did pretty much everything for me and honestly..I suck at housework now cuz of it lol. But I didn't learn how to do laundry till I moved out at 18 and not cuz I wanted to cuz I had to. They were moving to another state cuz my dad was in the military and I was pregnant and didnt want to leave my child's father. But I'm 29 and I'm still not great at laundry. She even would tell me to bring my laundry over for her to do after I had 2 kids and I was working and she knew I was not the best at keeping up with it. She totally spoils me. Gotta love young girls always wanting to help with the babies! And how wonderful of your kids to help with everything too. Taking the kids to the park, cooking and all the stuff they do. I love how helpful your kids are and you all work together as a unit. It's really beautiful. That Pastor was so sweet. And it was so funny when he was saying where he's from is better than Kenya 🤣 how sweet of his wife to send those gifts for everyone too. I'm not sure how to spell her name but it's such a beautiful name too. I'd love to go visit those areas and see how different the culture is and all the animals. That would be so neat. I love both your husband and the pastors accents so much!
So much Love..merci! as the bird flies.. Loved this video, all videos.. Love. Save he children! Give them wings and set them free! Love love Happy Valentine's Day! Everyday is Valentine's Day..
Many moons ago when my babies were young I had no washer or drier, There was me , hubby 1 baby and 2 children, both children were bed wetters. My daily chore was washing bed linen in the bath, let drip dry outside. It was hardwork, but you know I would trade these easy days without my babies whom are adults for those days when I fell into bed every night exhausted.
As a Kiwi ( NZ) born, it was great to listen to the men as the kids were opening their gifts. Sorry, All Blacks still the best in the world, ps Solo will get it. Thanks
Oh my.. It is so lovely to hear that Solo knows a lot about Sri Lanka.. I m from Sri Lanka and I love your channel.. It's so refreshing to watch your Vlogs coz there's no pretention... Very lovely videos..
I wondered if your Sri Lankan pastor visitor was Ps Dishan. He is a great man and loads of fun. We have met him a couple of times in Hawaii at Calvary Church where my husband and I ministered and Ps Dishan was the main speaker. Hello there from Paul and Deborah Hilton serving in Vietnam.
Laundry is a love hate relationship here. And we are a family of 5. But we also cloth diaper part time. So laundry all the time. Clean laundry ends up on my bed to sort/fold because the laundry room doesn't have room for a table. But I have more than the last place we lived and it doesn't share space with the garage pass through so I am grateful for that.
Lol I can relate... we don't have a door on our current one, but when my kids were younger (different house) it was also my little haven away to be productive and unwind, for 10 min here, and there 🤗
ugh winter yes. I am a stay at home mom and honestly it's driving me bonkers not being able to go outside and play with the kids. Let them run out their sillies. . .get some good old fashion vitamins d.
Having a washer and dryer is definitely a blessing. There is only me and my partner in my house although sometimes I feel like I do laundry for the whole street (14 houses including ours)
It’s awesome to be out and about. I have a bit of a request, Solo and Sara can you pray for me? I’m dealing with some depression and anxiety that’s being treated but it just stinks in the mean time u til I feel better. Thank you Bro and Sis in Christ!
My mom had a wringer type washer when I was young. The washer was in the yard. She then had to hang the clothes on the outside line. Then later, after the wringer washer quit, we went to the laundromat. When I got married, I had a washer and dryer. It made me think of my mom.
💙💙💙💙 I only have three bt completely understand those moments of silence as well as less clutter (dishes here) when that joyful time comes. 😆Bt I'm also the one saying that it's too quiet after 20min and being lonely.
"I love my children but every once in awhile, people need to leave the house for a bit!" said every mom at some point in her life. 😄
Oh my goodness my daughter watched this with me and she's like mom see your not the only one who needs a minute!🤣😆🙏Amen to that!!
When my kids are bad, i say i love them, but right now don't like them. Lol
As a former foster kid I use channels like this to learn so much about motherhood and managing a house. Same here, I wasn’t a foster but my family never hosted others so I learn so much about hospitality from her family and videos!❤️

I feel your heart and know you are a wonderful person 😍😘
I feel your heart and know you are a wonderful person 😍😘...GOD knew you would be a good parent yourself.

I hear you with appreciation for the washing machine - when we visit my husband’s family in rural China, they also hand wash all my clothes for me❤️. After that first experience, I not only appreciate my washing machine, but also hot shower and indoor flush toilet!!
So true!

Laundry is very satisfying! I don't mind it at all! (but I do have a washer and dryer). I very much enjoyed Pastor Dashon this week!

I had 6 and skiing, ice skating were big. I'd pack a lunch and they had hot cocoa. Kept them busy all day.
I too love my washing machine and would be lost without it.

I would rather do mountains of piles of laundry vs doing the dishes
My greatgrandmother, despite the technology and the means to purchase a washer and dryer, washed her clothes on a washboard and hung out them to dry. This lasted thru the 1970s
Wow!
I’m so hooked on your channel,Sarah.❤️💙

My 6 month old HATES baths, too! He’s happy to play in the shower but hates being submerged, I guess! 😂
Sound like South Africa. But we have rooibos tea, the only country in the world that plant rooibos tea. Our sports are also the same.
Grandma lived to be 97. I asked what was the greatest invention in her life time. She said the washing machine. She had 12 kids. She was born in 1899.
She was a smart lady!!

Enjoyed the video and learning more about Sri Lanka.
Seth was like...." it's time for bed...LIGHTS OUT!!!"
As a Kiwi ( NZ) born, it was great to listen to the men as the kids were opening their gifts. Sorry, All Blacks still the best in the world, ps Solo will get it. Thanks

Yes! Small world! ❤️
Curious what Solo made with the green beans for dinner? Maybe I missed that part..love your videos!
Ha....we just had them with our lasagne 🤣
Laundry is a love hate relationship here. And we are a family of 5. But we also cloth diaper part time. So laundry all the time. Clean laundry ends up on my bed to sort/fold because the laundry room doesn't have room for a table. But I have more than the last place we lived and it doesn't share space with the garage pass through so I am grateful for that.
Lol I can relate... we don't have a door on our current one, but when my kids were younger (different house) it was also my little haven away to be productive and unwind, for 10 min here, and there 🤗
Take care and be blessed.
ugh winter yes.

That tea is very popular in Queensland Australia. It’s found in the grocery shops.
So cool!
Sweet lil Peace is getting bigger than her milk jug!😄👍 Looking more like her daddy. Thanks for a new video and update.
I love how you turned your small laundry room into a blessing of small space where you can have some me time 💜
🤗💕🤗
It’s awesome to be out and about. I have a bit of a request, Solo and Sara can you pray for me? I’m dealing with some depression and anxiety that’s being treated but it just stinks in the mean time u til I feel better. Thank you Bro and Sis in Christ!
Fun visit I am sure
Came over from the Millers, been binging on your videos ❤
My mom had a wringer type washer when I was young. The washer was in the yard. She then had to hang the clothes on the outside line. Then later, after the wringer washer quit, we went to the laundromat. When I got married, I had a washer and dryer. It made me think of my mom.
