How did it automatically update the ao map? Ive changed the wing of a skyline im working on so i changed the material to be the same one as the body but it just stays black. How do i get it to update the ao map too?
Hey man thanks for all your videos. I'm having some problems with my sa22c rx7 rehash build I'm going. Been following your videos and I've messed something up. Could I send you my project and have you just look at it to tell me what's wrong? I'm about to just start over and go one bit at a time but figured I could always ask first and get a no. Cheers

All 3d parts must be assigned with AO? Is that why kseditor been giving hard time? I made a 3d car completely from blender3d and I now i have learn 3d max and "AO" from the top. smh.
It’s not required but it helps make everything look better. AO adds the shadows to your objects so it makes it more realistic compared to an object without shadows.
Don’t do any texture work in 3ds. All you have to make sure is to apply a material on the object in 3ds. Then export to kseditor and apply the textures there. Applying it in 3ds won’t translate to the game

How do you fix strange trinangles shading that or on some parts of the model?
You could try using the smooth modifier, or there might be some vertices that aren’t welded
