So, I managed to make the car actually appear, but it's all dark and "separated by parts" (to give you an idea the tyres show up white instead of black). I created a "texture" folder and dragged every texture to it but this is what I get now... Btw I didn't modify anything on the BMW since I'm using the one you used as a test. I just turned it into a .obj file and things got crazy when I opened KSEditor. If you have a solution I would like to know it, thanks!
90s racer hello, if you select the wing like I did for instance with the BMW M3 GT car you can copy that one to the new empty file just like I did. Then, you select the wing (on the car you want to put the other wing on) and delete it there. Then you just follow the other steps of the video. So basically you remove the old wing and then follow the steps of the video and you will have your new wing! Let me know if you have more questions.

When you looking at the "normal files" look to the bottom right and select "All Files" I know this kinda old but i just figured out the answer for that issue i also couldn't find anywhere
can you remove a bumper with a .fbx file? I deleted it from blender then exported it to unpacked folder, and it still shows the bumper ingame. Is there something wrong that I did?

@@RyuKyu316 maybe, as long as the holes fit it maight be good but you'll have to mess with blender or 3dsmax after converting the kn5 files to fbx and after all your work having most likely to reassign all the textures 1 by 1 with the sdk its gonna be hard... go on and try but i don't promise anything
I enter KSEditor and when I open the FBX it doesn't show the car. When I want to save it, the app just says that there is no texture for every single part of the vehicle, which seems obvious since it doesn't appear at first... Any solution? Thanks!
I don't think you can, it's just about the looks. Maybe you can edit the car with the AC Car Tuner but I don't think you can change the downforce of it.
@@vosme1108 unless these visually edited cars are different than any kunos car or mod car. You can change the downforce/engine/drivetrain/ anything really physics related even car weight or adding DRS/ERS electric system using the car data folder, or Data.ini. the folder you would be looking for in the downforce case is Aero.ini youll want the program notepad ++ to open it. open Aero.ini you will see all the wings listed like this [Wing_0] Name: Body then all the aero data on that wing, so you would scroll down to the last wing it may be called [wing_2] Name: Rear then all the data below that. click at the very very bottom and hit Enter so you start a new line, then you would type [wing_3] to add a new wing and name that wing according to whatever you want. next youll see 6 values like this 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, that is the location of the wing and the size of it. youll have to set those to match the wing you added. then you would copy and paste the data from factory rear wing above it and edit the CL value: coefficient of lift and increase it and with the CD file: coefficient of drag youll increase that too, thats a simple way but if the car makes lift instead of downforce to begin with, then that wont work. youll have to create a new file to dictate how the new wings CL and CD work in relation to his height from the ground and speed the car is traveling. its sounds like a long process but it can be done in 10 minutes, but you 100% NEED content managers custom showroom/ Notepad ++/ And DEV apps enabled to moniter aero in real time for testing to see aero balance.
I followed your video and the result is that the new my car has been saved with floating doors over the bonnet. That means that or 3DSimED or KSEditor or both are crapy

i fear its not gonna be easy since if you delete the polys of the wing you'll probably have 2 holes where the wing and body connected

When you save the FBX in 3DsimED choose: FBX binary 6.0
everything fine until i try to export in at 3:29 it give me like 30 errors and my car is invinvcible

License plates can be done with changing textures, I recommend looking at racedepartment for this

I would recommend using wheels from the original assetto corsa cars, or use wheels from downloaded mod cars from racedepartment
