Why is Crescent Sweep on back bar? Spear is back there for the aedric spear passive. Front bar would get 4 and 5 piece MS bonus not present when using sweep on the back bar.
frontbar aedric spear passive is covered by puncturing sweeps. cresent sweep is on the backbar to make place for meteor on the frontbar wich increases max magicka on the frontbar for more damage. Alternativly use destro ult on the backbar if you desire more burst damage but meteor must always stay on the frontbar for the magesguild passives.

Hey, I'm a magplar player as well. And you actually lose a fair bit of dps not using a fire staff. But using a lightening staff would give your group off balance. Depends on the group comp. But definitely shoot for that inferno staff.
SlyderGaming you lose the 8% single target damage bonus for not slotting inferno but that's not the only reason why it's a dps loss running lightning. Flame staff procs burning more often which adds an extra DoT into your dps numbers
I have tested this and I lost to much damage on light attacks and beam (3-4k dps loss) even though sweeps does around 500-800 more dps. on top of that the animations really bug out when bashweaving with a lightningstaff. For trash fights however its really nice to use.
have you tried master architect on this instead of mother's sorrow? because for group scenarios if its only a small dps loss wouldn't it be better than MS?
If you choose to run master architect use it instead of falsegod. You will probably have to run grundwulf for sustain so the dps loss is around 3-5k. My opinion about MA however is that it is only worth using in fully optimized mag only groups. MA+MS +Grundwulf is what im currently using for godslayer progression
What did you mean by PL in the rotation, I’ve tried the rotation but only seem to be hitting about 20k because I run out of Magicka when boss is at about 75%, I’m new to rotation and trying to get better I’m cp538 atm
Heres a few things you can do for better mag sustain: 1. get the set called falsegod if you dont' have it 2.use an absorb magicka glyph on your backbar weapon 3.become a vampire and unlock the passives for regen. If with these changes you still run out of magicka try running the monster set grundwulf along with all the previous suggestions

I started eso 1 week ago and i hit only 26k as dps, i have lightning and fire mother's sorrow staffs, i readed the reason why u use 2 inferno and i was thinking about what to switch my lightning with, cause the malestorm for me is still to much to handle... it would help a lot if u can help me with that :)
@@danielschulz4752 entrophy is worth using if u are not using essence of spellpower, if u do use that slot mystic orb instead. as for vSS I run 2x spellcrit or grundwulf depending if i need the sustain or not. in vAS either slimecraw or grundwulf also depending on the sustain. If u use grundwulf in AS make sure you slot camouflaged hunter instead of innerlight for minor berserk.

Not really, even better would be mystic orb. Thats what I use in trials but make sure u use spellpower pots then.

PL is purifying light skill, maybe you run out of magicka because of wrong set or missing cp or missing Light attacks

use a willpower or mothersorrow inferno staff on the backbar until you get your vMA staff
how much damage do you lose if you swap sweeps out for force pulse or ele weapon?
forcepulse about a 3k loss for me, ele weapon comes close but you need to hit atleast 0.90+ LA/s consistently for ele weapon to be viable

Hollowfang and overwhelming great combo for mele off balance templar.
When do you bash? And why?
bash is on a different cooldown as all other abilities so if you light attack, use an ability and bash all in the same second its free damage

Press your jabs faster :p. The animation is bugged, you can cast it much earlier than you think
why u bash sometimes when u make your rota?
bashing is on a different cooldown as lightattacks and abilities, by doing it you get a littlebit of extra dps
