I LOVE your discussion of art in exploring this deck. Also I was cackling thinking that Dürer was an early selfie (felt cute, might paint over later :)). This was such a delightful way of working with these cards. Julia Jeffrey's other deck Tarot of the Hidden Realm is very different, Fae energy and scenes that feel like I am being allowed to glimpse at from a distance. Witch Sister feels like a member of the coven sitting with you and having a discussion of shared wisdom. There is a mutuality and a fleshiness to this deck I love and feels tender and warm. I used this deck for a shadow work journey for myself and found the questions to be very important. I always read the guide book and noticed which lines sprang forth and how the themes and archetypes discussed drew forth certain memories, images, and connections within myself. I also noticed these cards talk to one another. Often repeating colors, body postures, symbols mentioned felt like the conversation being carried between cards (one draw a few cards mentioned salmon and consuming the wisdom, another draw blue danced from Elf Stroke, to one eye of the Hermit, to both eyes and hair of the figure in Star card). This is a deep deck and one of independent voices that wish to chat but which I try to ask what they mean first (read the guidebook) before I assume what they mean just like in a conversation with a person. I am fascinated by the reading style you are creating and see how this could be such a great deck for building a magic ritual by asking your coven of sister witches. Thank you so much for so generously sharing this, I would have loved to hear you talk even more. I will love to see down the road how you are getting on with this deck. PS used Moonchild Shadow edition with Alchemy Oracle as a clarifier for some Ostara spread and Wowza low key obsessed, thank you for nudging me with your video to come back to the Moonchild.

Wow, what an interesting and deep approach. Do you plan to make your own sheet of your categorised meanings for each card or will you extract these always on the go? I feel my English maybe not fluent enough for the nuances in the meanings and I will be slow in extracting these ideas. Still interested though.
