The State Anthem of the Latvian SSR (Latvian: Latvijas PSR himna; Russian: Гимн Латвийской ССР) was the anthem of the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic from 1945 to 1990 when Latvia was part of the Soviet Union.
During Soviet rule, the anthem was approved by the Supreme Soviet of the Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic on 19 July 1945. The original lyrics had references to Joseph Stalin until its replacement in 1977 when the references of him were removed. After Latvia regained independence in 1990, Dievs, svētī Latviju! was restored as its anthem on 15 February 1991.

The State Anthem of the Ukrainian SSR (Ukrainian: Derzhavnyy himn Ukrayins'koyi Radyans'koyi) was the anthem of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic when it was one of the republics of the Soviet Union. Like other republics of the Soviet Union at the time, Ukraine had its own anthem, which was in use until it declared independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. The music was composed by a group of composers led by Anton Dmitriyevich Lyebyedinyec; the original lyrics to the anthem by Pavel Tychina were changed slightly by Mikola Bazhan in 1978 when a reference to Stalin in the second verse was changed.
On 15 January 1992, the Presidium of Verkhovna Rada issue its ukase stating that the Anthem of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic loses its status and starting with 16 January 1992 it is replaced with the earlier anthem "Shche ne vmerla Ukrainy i slava, i volia".
