Yea it doest make sense to follow sundown to sundown; YAHUAH said the sun to rule the day; He said there was evening and there was morning, the.....day
I agree, Sundown to Sundown never sat well with me. But looking at how we conduct ourselves, Yahuah made it clear that we rise in the day or with the sun and sleep at night when it's dark and Moon is present.
The day begins at dawn. Boqer in Hebrew. The last thing that occurred on day one, two, three etc....

Look up English words that are pagan, (i.e. "b(be) less". Why would we be saying that to The Creator?) your holidays, names of days, gee oh dee, jc, el oh ar dee, paying homage to ALL THINGS AGAINST THE CREATOR!! "Church" like religion, has Nothing to do with The Creator of the Universe. "HOLY" means set apart and He repeatedly reminds us that He is with us Always! There is no protection/power in the prayers they changed the real words to. He spoke worlds into existence with Our Original Hebrew, not that yiddish fake letters/fabrications which is why there is Deliberately so much confusion and chaos surrounding this fake chr--sia n ty illusions. It existed already before they attached it to OUR Bible.
There is only 12 hours in a day from Sun Rise to Sun set is a twelve hour day.
I think I saw a scripture that says there is only 12 h in a day. But the shabbat is from sun rise to sunrise as mentionned somewhere in the comments, "late in the sabbat as the next day was about to dawn, Marymagdalen went to the tomb ..."
All the disagreement around everything is a sign that either it is not time yet or the God of this world is confusing us or both at the same time.
That's his job, to confuse us so that we don't align ourselves with Yahuah. Which is why seeking Yahuah through prayer for discernment is highly important!! I simply ask Yahuah which way I am to go and told me, so I follow on the path he gave me through prayer!!
Shalum, if the month starts on the equinox, saturday is not Shabat. How does this work?
When we look at the word "Intercalary" it means to add, and we can also subtract days so that it makes the calendar of Yahuah what he would have it to be.
Now, according to Google, the first day of Spring is March 19 and from that date to March 23 (that Saturday) is 5 days. The word of Yahuah states, that the Shabat will forever be on the 7th day.
To make that true and to keep in line with his word, we would have to subtract 2 days, going back to March 17, 2024, which would make March 23, 2024 the first Shabat of the New Year.
Truly, I think it can be said that we only know when the Spring Equinox is based on what the world or when Man says it to be, so this is where prayer to Yahuah and discernment comes in that he leads us in his ways.

Actually I just checked and the stars are the same wherever you are. So for me new month is monday for the whole Earth

There are no scripture verses about intercalary days, it's a tool to use to determine when the Appointed Times are.

That's not accurate, Monday will be the 18th and the New Year begins on the 19th. But as always seek Yahuah about it, we tend to error when we lean into our own understanding.
Isn't the vernal equinox on the 20th this year?
According to Google, it's on March 19th, but even with their figures, they're making a rough guess. Seeking Yahuah for discernment will help to get it right!!

The first day of Spring is March 19, whenever March 19th is in the U.K. then that's when you would begin the New Year, the 20th would simply be the day after.

The truth is equinoxes happen at a precise hour so they cannot be the same anywhere in the world. Should we all live according to wherever you are in the US? When you say you ask YAHUAH, are you a prophet who speaks with him or did he send you the knowledge?
Verse 16 says until the morrow after the 7th shabat, that's 50 days not 50 more days. 7 weeks is 49 plus 1, 50.
I have my own calendar but it is not better as if I count 7 Shabats I get more than 50 days so I have to count 7 weeks.
But Leviticus 25:8 suggests to me that sabbath means 7. Whether it is days, months or years.

Looking at verse 16 of U'yaqra/Leviticus 23, we first would have to look at verse 15 which reads, "And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete" so that would imply that starting on April 9th, which is the end of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (at Sunrise) --- 7 Shabats/Sabbaths need to be completed, so in counting the 7 Shabats would be 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, & 5/25. Those would be the 7 completed Shabats, now verse 16 says "AFTER" completing the 7 Shabats, we are to number 50 more days, so from 5/26 to 7/13 is 48 days but we have to account for the "intercalary days" that are added to make it an even 50 days and that would bring us to the date of 7/13 which is a double Shabat because it is a regular Shabat and a Feast Day --- Feast of Weeks.

Before quoting U'yaqra/Leviticus 25:8, we must provide context with the whole of the matter which is U'yaqra/Leviticus 25:8-13, and this is talking about the Jubilee --- which is every 50 years!!

There are indeed many calendars out there, but before following a specific one, and that includes the one I posted; we should seek Yahuah through prayer, in Yahusha's name present both calendars to him and ask him, which one is of him. Whichever one he says to follow; follow that one to observe his feast days and appointed times!!
