So nice thank you so much for sharing your patterns ❤❤❤
Good job !
Beautiful work !
Thanks a lot:)
Hi, thank you for the pattern. Appreciate it.
What paper size should i print it with?
Hermes should hire you
Thank you very much for the video and the pattern 💚🍀
My pleasure, dude ;-)
What is the glue that you used to stick the pattern into the leather before tracing please? Thank you 6:12
Can I ask, what glue are you using to stick down the pattern to the leather temporarily?
Nice job, also Thanks for the pattern
No worries, happy to hear that
Great video! I have an Hermes Calvi and will make a matching passport wallet inspired by your video.
Can I ask where did you get the leather? Is there a specific type (saffiano?) to search for?
I tried this but it ends up not closing flat to pop in the pocket because of the thickness of the snap button.
Hi, thanks for your comment. I made 3 or 4 for my friends after uploading. The best snap button is YKK sw35, one of which has small flat surface on both side. Please send me a email if not clear, i will send you some pictures of it. mxleatherworks@gmail.com
Thank you! i have a question, do i need to make adjustments to the pattern if i will be using 1.1-1.2mm leather?
Thanks for your comment. I think it will be difficult to fold and the final project may become too thick if you paste two 1.1mm layers. But if single layer, maybe ok. Another problem is the button, the stick maybe not long enough.
Hope this can help.
@@MxLeatherWorks i see.. so the thickness might be more than the button stick length. I didn't think of it before. Thank you!
No worries, have a nice day:)
@@MxLeatherWorks Hi, sorry i wanna ask again, what size of snap button diameter do you recommend for this? thank you
I usually use ykk sw35, actually I've made almost 5 pieces for my friends, and this button is the best.
BTW, sw35 have many options, one of them is flat on both sides, i mean the bottom of female part is same as male part, it doesn't have surface.
Hope this can help.
Hi, where can I get the paper pattern?
Hi Phyllis, please check descriptions below each videos, there are Google drive links. hope this can help.
Good afternoon. what is the name of the glue that you put on a paper pattern and apply to the skin?
Hi, it's ordinary multi purpose glue with strong smell and dark orange color. Thanks for watching.
@@MxLeatherWorks and that it does not leave marks on the skin? after all, you don't wait until it dries at least a little, but immediately glue the paper to your skin
That depends, if the glue is not very strong, can apply the pattern to leather in short time. My experience is to spread the glue as thin as possible. BTW, the method is only for Chrome tanned leather, and every time i buy new glue, i need to try this with a small piece of leather before make project.
@@MxLeatherWorks ok. Thanks 👍😊
No worries
Wow! You are amazing! Do you have a shop selling what you make? Any chance you have a pattern for the Bastia too?
Thanks Landa. I don't have a shop now...It's a good idea to make Bastia, hope I can make it soon. Please stay tuned:)
I will go back home next month. It's not difficult to make better products after I have more leather and hardwares.
@@MxLeatherWorks I see Hermes came out with a Calvi Duo. Looks complicated. Not sure if it is worth making it but would love it if you are able to. 😊
@@MxLeatherWorks By any chance you would sell what you make?
Yes, I saw some Calvi duo unboxing videos this week, It's another amazing Hermes slg. I will also do this after I have more info such as size and structure.
