Very good question. Regardless on whether the caps are still good or not, these are 30 years old and use a 'wet' electrolyte. Even the best caps in the world will start to degrade and dry out. Worse, most caps in the power module will also have been subjected to a lot of heat making this worse. So for peace of mind, I prefer to swap them out and guarantee they last for a good few more decades.
Excellent work on fixing the door on that 810. Console5 sells complete belt kits for these decks. On my 410s, the belts had turned to tar.
