@@DiamondPunk Haha, good point! More possessive instead of is/has. Although, it's "curves". If you listen closely, you can just catch the 's' on curves.
Think about how validating this relationship with Holt must've been for her. She grew up with seven brothers and was constantly compared and the parents played favorite. But with Holt, despite how many "kids" he had, he never played favorites or compared. They each had their own special relationship with him. That must've been so nice for her compared to what she was raised with. I think it's a big reason she mellowed out a bit in later seasons
@@radhiadeedou8286 Charles did. What I meant with "special" is that his individual relationship with each of them was unique. And him and Charles absolutely had a special relationship. There are quite a few scenes and episodes that show their relationship to each other. It's just not a big point of focus so it's easily overlooked
The 99 being the most incestously wholesome family. Jake and Amy both view holt like a father figure and also see each other as siblings despite being married and despite Amy also is into Holt and Boyle at times, Boyle being madly in love with Jake, Gina being in love with herself, I am confident that Rosa wasn’t the only Bi-leaning character in the show,
So idk if anyone's gonna bother reading this but Holt says his mentorship is 9 years which is 3285 days, but he said that he would tell Amy he had been mentoring her on day 3300 meaning 15 days after the whole 9 year "secret" mentorship would be when Holt tells her what he's been doing.
@kranberry3318 do you think holt would say something like "you can't be in a good mood over a day that's only just begun, there isn't enough information to decide there is a reason for joy"
It’s interesting how Jake and Amy subconsciously think of Captain Holt as a father figure. Jake because his real dad was a womanizer/playboy who wasn’t around much and Amy because she was the youngest of 7 brothers and had to fight for her Dad’s attention. Captain Holt is a reserved, reliable and respectable man who can provide a calm voice, chastise when they get out of line and his praise all hold more weight coming from him. It’s very sweet all around.
Jake's dad is absent, a deadbeat almost. Holt is a constant presence. Amy's parents always put her brother on a pedestal and don't recognize how awesome she is. Holt does!
Fun dorky math comment, holt said he had a 9 year plan that he said he'd reveal on day 3300, but 9 years is only 3287 or 3288 days q(depending on how many leap years occur). Meaning he never intended to show her or show her 2 weeks after he finished mentoring her.

I like how she said "they are OUR dads" implying she also sees Rosa as a sister.
Her face when he reveals he's been mentoring her is fantastic
I love the little “whaaa?” sound she makes
"You don't outgrow punk, sir"
Holt was stunned.
She truly is Holt’s daughter
and yet weirdly, at the same time, amy’s husband also thought of holt as his father! 😱😱😱
