A nice straightforward approach to the fabrication you do. When you get old like me you'll find getting down on the floor and especially getting back up is not so easy. A bench will be in your future.
You two are making a old man happy everyday. I'm 70 years old and have been building vehicles for 45 years and I'm still learning things from you all all the time. I love this car and can't wait to see what's going to happen everyday. Just keep happy and keep living the work.
With all that's going on I look so forward to this every day, my family is from New Brunswick,Iam in Ontario, and I relate to your attitude and your positivity, you are awesome. I have used some of your ideas in little projects around my home, the knowledge you pass on is fantastic thanks again and keep going brother....Without a good women behind us its hard to move forward in life,I have my wife and you have Jolene, who does an awesome job as well.,,,,,make her your priority and you will always win, Ive been married 34 years ... keep on keeping on , you are the best, and thanks again......Brew
I love what you are doing. This Bugatti project is wonderful to watch. It is very enjoyable to watch the build as it is happening day to day. I prefer your unscripted style, and hearing you think out loud. Truly Original. Wish you great success with your work.
Hey chad love your show. I lost the love of my life Kim. in June of 2020. Watching your show has got me out of a dark place and motivated to get back to work on my projects. you have also taught some great tips on bondo work. When you do a final sand before paint do you wet sand and with what grit. name the car Jolene! Keep on teaching. Love you Brother!
Your steadily moving forward on your beautiful project. I like how you rely on your high tech C.A.D. technology. (C.A.D. = Cardboard assisted design) sometimes the old ways are the best ways.
I've been watching every video I can of this build. I believe I've seen the somewhat final product besides the paint. I still enjoy every one of your video's. You pack every one with great techniques and great wisdom about any and everything you speak on! ❤
Another great episode. Thank you very much. I love to see this car coming along and agree 100% that Jolene is doing a great job with these videos and is showing allot of talent. Please keep sharing these great videos with us here on TH-cam, they are much appreciated. THANK YOU CHAD AND JOLENE
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP, AND THE HARD WON SKILLS, AND THE CRAFTSMEN WHO PASS ON THEIR KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE, AND WISDOM!!!.... BRAVO CHAD!!!!.... (BRAVO!!! TO MEN LIKE BAD CHAD, RON FOURNIER, RON COVELL, LAZZEmetalshaping, KENT WHITE, RICHARD FINCH, JESSE JAMES, etc....)
Hi Chad i thank and Jolene for all the hard work you put into out these videos showing us the tremendous talent and can do positive attitude you both have in life I wish you every success regards from wales uk
Good rant! Too many people not shouldering their own responsibility these days 'Not my fault - he made me do it!' ... And good advice about accepting praise and working with it - you're becoming quite the philosopher! The new seats are a good choice - making original ones would be way too much work. Looking forward to the interview later.
I can't thank you two enough for what you do, you're so giving. I've started turning the live chat off. A lot of good people on there that like to socialize and that's their thing. Then you have the few like Captain Cruel who is just mean to others. Anyway, it's a lot more enjoyable for me, without at sort of stuff. Again, Thank You Both! I've learned so much, my brain hurts and that's a good thing.
I have an 84 caprice and a 78 impala and after watching you for almost 2 years im convinced this game im in all a rip off, you build cars from scratch for 25 and 30k your a honest man and their trying to charge me $260 for plastic bumper fillers smh their charging 100k to build a donk lmao I appreciate you man your are motivation to work on my own car love all the way from oakland california
Thank you for all your hard work on the car and taking time to make a video and opening up your life so share it with us. I really appreciate it You 2 are amazing thanks so much
Chad I really enjoy watching your expertise, also your lessons for life go far beyond car building. You sir are people building, and this has eternal value. 😊
Its amazing how with the seats and the shifter how all the ergonomics of the driver position falls into proper place without planning it in advance.. Kudos You are a true artist and master.
Dude...been doing this kind of work (on a purely amateur level) for some time; you blow our minds with the stuff you can do and the fearless attitude you have when approaching a problem.
Hey chad- great work man, its so great to see someone actually working their way around problems and solving them as you move along, its also great to watch someone working out their garage/workshop and achieving such good work. Thanks for all the excellent videos from a small cold garage in great britain
Just kind of stumbled upon your videos a few weeks back and have enjoyed the positive flow to your work. Used to catch your show now and then on the tv, but love this format. Keep at it man! Like, subscribe and hit that bell everybody!
Jeff from Jersey here! Loving the progress! I love your words of wisdom Chad. Jolene you are going to look fantastic in this on your wedding day. God bless you both🙏🙏🙏
You really inspire me to have a go at what you. I have something in my head. I drawn it a million times. Looked on the net at metal welding works. Studied pictures intensily of the cars. It really helps me take my mind away from my daily stuff or grind. Thank you Someone I met builds land rovers and campers. Moggies. Took his time to show me how to weld. Big game changer. Take care jon
Thanks for another great episode!! I find myself wanting to skip ahead through some of the fabrication as I know what Chad is going to do but I am always glad I do not as his commentary is probably my favourite part of these videos! Chad, I could not agree more, personal responsiblity seems to be forgotten about all too often!! Keep up the excellent work you two!!! That car looks killer!!!
Once again the car is coming out amazing and I think your right those brown leather seats would look great in the car , I can't wait to see the rest of the console get bad rolled and done God Bless you guys and have a great week 😊👍👍🙏🙏✌
You know...... As much as I love watching this stuff I can't hardly wait to see it finished...then another video of another car he does will pop up and it starts all over again...😂😂😂😂😂
One of the best things i have learnt from watching your videos is that a guy may not get it right the first time but you can always change it to make it better.
I absolutely love your outlook on life! You are not only talented but a very happy person who shares that happiness with others and inspires not only to create but to be happy!
Loving this. So nice to see how things are actually done without the fake jeopardy and messing about on TV shows. I know they only have a certain amount of time to use- but they waste most of it on nonsense. This car is gonna look amazing, and well done Jolene for the film work.
Chad, I am sure someone else or you have already thought of it but just in case.Take something like seat belt material and make a strap attached to the door and to the inside of the body to limit the door travel. It would also be period correct. You have built a piece of art... David from Texas
Hi Chad and Jolene I hope you get this message before its to late but you will need to watch how you bead roll the panels for the side of the console as the upper square tubing will interfere. Your a smart wise man and you will sort it,,,, keep it going man love your mind and work. cheers Aussie John
Awesome job as always. I like the tan seat that you chose. It looks the same shape as the one you drew on the chalk board.. Great job and advice as always. Love your builds and love this channel.👍👍
Hey Chad, your extreme patience is something worth noting!! Your optimism is also something worth noting. Behind every successful man is an understanding respectful woman.
Thanks for being a positive influence. We appreciate it. Not much good going lately in the world. You have made a difference even if it was in one person's life with your positivity.
Years ago i was restoring a 62 Tbird. At the same time i was re roofing my home with a torch down roll roofing. I found the base layer of roll roofing was identical to the original T bird floor insulation. Waaay cheaper than the car insulation and worked great.
Chad if you change your florescent and compact bulbs to LED bulbs you may not blow your breakers(fuses). So much cheaper to operate. LED's use 75% less energy and seem to be brighter. Love your show and how well the two of you get along.
For the trans tunnel you could glue. if you like? Wood veneer instead of carpet covering the sides and have insulation noise backing underneath the veneer to absorb the trans vibration.
Great job , enjoyed this . Pixels were down during this , not sure why. Great video smoothness , it really makes a huge difference. You don’t feel like you been in a drier for an hour ... cheers Alberta Dave 👍🇨🇦👍
I keep seeing old Triumph Spitfire seats on Kijiji pretty cheap. They totally look period. They have a curved back and a rounded top. Really cool. Anyway thanks for sharing and inspiring. Another TH-camr said a couple of years back. "Haters hate and creaters create." When people are negative it only shows how miserable they are in their lives. The only thing they can do to make themselves feel better is to try and make someone more miserable than they are. They are loud but they are a very small minority of your viewers. Cheers from BC.
Hi Chad I've been watching you on the TV and loving all the cars and trucks that you have and are making, a friend said hey Andrew Chad has a TH-cam channel so I am loving all these videos, lovig the car take care regards from Scotland UK 💙🏴💙🏴
car is looking good chad...you have a great minds eye.....i know that you have it visually done....i can see most of it.....thank you and jolene for another great video
With all of the different car shows on tv I’m surprised none of the networks asked you guys. I think a lot of the common people can relate because they don’t have a big extravagant shop with unlimited funds and all of that sorts of stuff. Anyways you guys have a classy show and family friendly that is pretty awesome.
Great stuff BC ! You share some really great advice and insights about life and how to be. I wonder how did you get to be so insightful ? always enjoyable to watch the process...is not always what I would do and that is actually nice to see and be reminded that there are many ways to get where you want to go, do what you want to do nice cam work too J...do you use a stabilizer to keep the video so solid ?
Can we get the windshield cleaned .your the best teacher luv your ideas have a great talent this car will be a great achievement. Will be in a class of its on awesome show .patrick .

The M.G. seats look period! There is another seat you could use that comes out of an A.C. COBRA from Carroll Shelby's cars. That also would work well in a Bugatti Type 57C. You should of welded in some center cross bars for brasing for the tunnel roof. It might cave in. Good video, Chad 😁👍!
The tunnel goes with the lines of the hood very well being flat with the door open,, I admit thought the square look wasn't going to look right, but it works..
Great metal worker you are . Still want to know how you will put a stop on door when you open them ! I see and understand all you do . The only thing I don't have an idea is a door stop when you open door .You always figure stuff out ,That amazes me . Watching you build the car is the most interesting thing ,I wait to see all your daily videos. I heard the getting back up part. Ohhhh, grunt, groan. :)

A thought just popped in!!!! A Rockabilly calendar. Your cars with Jolene dressed the part each month. Tasteful and artsy.

I cant wait to see this beautiful car done! Watching the production is awsome! Chad is brilliant. Great show and build.
I love your “can do” spirit,Chad you and Jolene are good souls!
What's a soul? Is that an acronym for people?
Good rant! Too many people not shouldering their own responsibility these days 'Not my fault - he made me do it!' ... And good advice about accepting praise and working with it - you're becoming quite the philosopher!
The new seats are a good choice - making original ones would be way too much work.

I think I have to agree that wood veneer over the sheeting would be nice but I guess rug would keep it quieter.
Once again the car is coming out amazing and I think your right those brown leather seats would look great in the car , I can't wait to see the rest of the console get bad rolled and done God Bless you guys and have a great week 😊👍👍🙏🙏✌

Its crazy to me when i watch chad work, its like im watching a old video of me lol

Another helpful video , in a Vw guy in the U.K. and this has given me the motivation to build my own centre console thanks Chad 👍

G'day Chad lve been loving the progress you are making and of course Jolene kind regards Anthony from down under

Chad...you do a effortless job staying a step ahead no matter where your @ on the process.....love watching you folks 😎😎
For the trans tunnel you could glue. if you like? Wood veneer instead of carpet covering the sides and have insulation noise backing underneath the veneer to absorb the trans vibration.

I definitely agree with you Chad people can only be responsible for themselves.

The Mr Rogers of the automotive industry. I would definitely like to be your neighbor. ✌️😁

@@christianmccollum1028 😅 At least once.
Excellent work, nice to see the example of no shortcuts. If you good want results you have to follow through and make it happen.

nice cam work too J...do you use a stabilizer to keep the video so solid ?
Another great episode ...... thanks
Can we get the windshield cleaned .your the best teacher luv your ideas have a great talent this car will be a great achievement. Will be in a class of its on awesome show .patrick .
I've learned from you Chad. What you do is physically impossible !!!!!!!😱😂👍✌️🖖🇺🇸
Use the most comfortable seats for Jolene. No seats intrude on the visual aspect, because they are hidden by the enclosed cabin. All of those negative comments about the seats are unfounded. Those are my thoughts.
Bottom line, Chad, you know the challenges, & you know what will fit best. I must say I am concerned about Jolene's knee's with that dash hanging down so far. Just my concern.
The M.G. seats look period!
Great content of free knowledge. Thank you both. 👍
I'm just enjoying the hell out of these videos.
The Jaguar XJ-S had a shifter handle exactly like you described.
The fact your using available parts ,motor, wheels seats ,thats the best .Anyone can buy new parts ,you do with imagination and ability to use imagination when you see other pieces parts around . john
I love beedrolling, it just looks amazing
Chad is awesome! A true artist.
My suggestion is make the buggatti emblems for the pedals and maybe for shifter bar as well...wanna go further if you using a rear view mirror carry the idea there as well...just my opinion 👍👍👍🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
