Jongho’s throat is actually relaxed when you think he “screams”, his vocal technique is almost perfect if not perfect. A lot of vocal teachers have studied his voice and his vocal coach is also one of the best of the country. His voice is just that powerful. You can see it when he sings live. 😊

20:00 to answer your question about Yeosang and Wooyoung ‘failing’, Yeosang left big hit under his own account, I’m not sure why he left, though. And Wooyoung followed Yeosang to kq because he wanted to debut with him, hence “if we make it, we make it together, if we fail, we fail together”

Seonghwa is a very beautiful and handsome man. Elegant and graceful but also powerful and dominant. He's the mom of the group, a huge goofball, and looks like god's most beautiful angel, but don't let that fool you. He is part of the Demon Line afterall xD Seonghwa and Hongjoong both talk about how they'd like for clothing to be genderless, and so you'll after see them (moreso Seonghwa) wearing lots of clothing that could be (or is labeled as) women's clothing but tailored for male bodies, whether it's the fabric is lace, velvet, or sheer, maybe there's pearls and jewels, choker necklaces, corsets, elbow-length gloves, bold eyeshadow and lipstick, jewels on their face or hair, etc. Not necessarily genderless as in an absence of anything/androgynous, but genderless as in nothing is inherently masculine or feminine, it's all just clothes. And gosh do I love them for that! I feel the same way too, I don't even like the dad and mom things, because anyone can be nurturing or a disciplinarian blah blah. But I guess we go with these descriptions because of generalizations of genders. Which I find horribly ironic to place gender-roles on ATEEZ who fight so hard against gender roles. But anyway.. It's okay to think they are beautiful, that's what they work hard to achieve with crazy skin care, health, and beauty routines so props to them for that hard work to always look on point, even to make straight men pause ;P It's the "visual" role of a group to be able to do that, it doesn't mean about yourself, just means they're reallllly good at what they're doing lol

Mom and Dad only means that Dad is the Leader and tough one who disciplines the young members.
and Mom is the most caring that always reminds them to behave properly everywhere 😍😍😍
#ATEEZ is like a family for them not just because they were all thrown in the group to complete a team.
Even their parents are close and hangs out together irl
Awesome right? Their friendship and closeness is indeed sincere not scripted.
Mom and Dad of the group is because they all started very young. Jungho the youngest of all was only 17 back then 🥰

Most reactors will do the longer guides. Just break it up and watch it over 2 or 3 videos. I know it gives you more vids to edit, but if you really like a group it's worth it to learn about what the group values and stands for, their accomplishments, their hardships and struggles, and the incredible relationship they have with their fandom that goes both ways. I also suggest watching a guide for the groups' lore, especially Ateez lore. It truly is the best in kpop and Atiny go absolutely mental at their concerts, especially on Guerrilla and The Ring strictly due to the lore, it's Lord of the Rings/Hunger Games epic saga level complex. I recommend the guide by Eterniteez for their lore. It's broken up over 6 or 7, 20-30 min videos and the lore and worlds are still growing with each comeback.

"aces" would be a cute fandom name ngl, but the term "ace" already means something in the kpop-sphere, plus A.C.E. is the name of a whole group so....lol
honestly...ignore the whole "mom & dad of the group" stuff. it's started as a joke ATEEZ came up with themselves, then parts of the fandom took it and ran, and now they don't know when to stop...it really doesn't apply anymore--especially since ATEEZ has one of the smallest age gaps between the oldest & youngest members i've ever seen in a k-pop group. they act just like a bunch of best friends imo.
Jongho's technique is impeccable, but i understand why you think he's just screaming. my guess is you simply dislike the tone of his voice when he belts those high notes; therefore, as a non-vocalist, you assume he must be doing something wrong. turns out, it's completely normal to not like the sound of someone's singing voice even though they're doing everything right technique-wise. i'm not sure how you're going to make it through ATEEZ' banger discography feeling that way though. after all, Jongho is the main vocalist & the only one in the group who can safely hit those notes on a regular basis....but keep up the honesty lmaooo 😂
the longer guide would've been wayyy more worth your time than this one imo, but i appreciate the reaction nonetheless 👍🏽

20:00 about getting into bighit/hybe its not really an exclusive big company thing as its a kpop thing, it is extremely often to hear about kpop idols bouncing between companies trying to debut. Before kpop idols are idols they are trainees and you can be a trainee for the same company for literal YEARS you could have joined the trainee program at 8 and not debut until you're like 20 and even then its a extremely slim number of people who do debut.
The older you get the less likely it will be for you to debut and companies at MOST debut a 4-8 member group every year or 2 some don't debut groups for years, so to increase your chances sometimes you might need to quickly join a company who is planning to debut a group soon.

I'm putting this here cause you seemed a bit confused or uncomfy with some parts of their personalities n looks.
Seonghwa (Song Hwa), Yeosang (Yoh sang) are visuals as well, meaning they are within the "korean beauty standards" n are like faces of the group. San is unofficially a visual, since a lot of people are drawn to his fierce visuals. PS. The beauty standards is Asia can be shit, with Korean Fans saying that someone like RM from BTS or Hwasa from Mamamoo, aren't fcking gorgeous. For example, Changbin n Chan fron SKZ won't fall into the beauty standards because of something like Chan's nose or Changbins cheeks (even his muscles n weight) it's ridiculous n toxic.
Seonghwa is jokingly called "mom" a lot by Ateez, the staff (kq editors) n atinys. Or he's called Mother too on tik tok n twitter (its queer/lgbtq+ slang for someone thats really badass, really pretty n doesn't matter if you're male/fem, it comes from drag queen culture where drag mothers are basically the leaders in the house, think Rupaul, he's the ultimate drag mother, Hwa n lots of Kpop Idols are called Mother because of their styles & their personalities) Seonghwa is also very comfortable in what you would call " women's" clothing. Stating that his style is "genderless" (said by himself in an interview)
Hongjoong is jokingly called the Dad because of his Captain (leader of the group) status and the respect that the group carries for him. Again, he's called the Dad by Ateez themselves n even the staff. He has sacrificed a lot for Ateez, which this Guide has not touched on. I highly recommend the Guide by Allofthe Kennys (if you dont want to edit a long guide like that, its okay, just watch it in your free time to get a better understanding of each member's personality n roles) Hongjoong is also someone that doesn't care for gender in fashion, so he wears whatever n has stated in the same interview that if he were to have a fashion brand in the future, the clothes would be genderless/unisex.
Keyword, "jokingly" been called Mom n Dad, by Ateez members. It's been done by them (ateez n staff, editors or interviews) in vlogs, interviews n stuff. It's not really calling them parents, Ateez members already have their loving parents, but they just see Matz as their older brothers or Hyungs of course that they can lean on or come to like "parents". Also Matz stand for eldest in the group n was coined by Hongjoong n Seonghwa. (I'm just clearing up the jokes from the guide and what you may see in the fandom).
Yeosang (Yoh sang) is very gorgeous, nicknamed the "Son of Aphrodite" for his stricking visuals. But he's not afraid of also being buff n pretty at the same time. He's an incredible mix of both. Seonghwa as well can slip into the pretty or masculine really well. They can be very androgynous (feminine or masculine depending on the stage, the concept, the mv or the performance. He's a part of the Demon line for a Reason. Take for example Crazy Form MV, Seonghwa was representing the Statue of Liberty for Freedom in Ateez Lore, so he would fit more into an androgynous or feminine look. Now this is not to downplay their genders, they are still very much men, but just men that are comfortable with trying new things n stepping outside of the gender stereotypes).
Seonghwa n Yeosang being called "Gender Envys" because they can look good in feminine clothing, embrace their feminine sides n also be both incredibly masculine on stage or when it calls it. They are secure n comfortable in their gender identity n are not afraid to say so.
Mingi is Nicknamed "Princess" or Pink Princess because of Yunho (but apparently, it comes from a popular manhwa character names princess Minky, and also according to Mingi himself he was raised spoiled from his mom like a princess). Yunho also said he calls him that cause he sees Mingi as someone that needs extra love and to be taken care of (in one of the Ateez vlogs) Yunho is Mingis closest friend and is called Yun-Hoe a lot cause when those two are together they can either be really cute or really sus😭 Mingi may look tough, but he's very sensitive and sweet. So there are times where the members will take extra care of him.
About Jongho's vocals, he's a very strong vocalist. I can't remember the term they use for it musically but i know that a lot of Seniors in Music n Korea as a whole have been blown away by his singing. (note, I just looked up his vocals n a lot of ppl compare his singing to Freddy Mercury, the lead singer of the Band Queen). He's a Power Vocal, someone you can hear across an arena if the mic stops working. Sometimes it may seem like he's screaming, probably because the mic was too close (eg, head mics) n it was his first time doing a note live, but he ALWAYS hits it perfectly after that😌
Now Ateez as a whole are filled with lightskinness n rizz, but they are also really sweet. They are very close to each other, basically a family. So they will be very cuddly, especially Wooyoung. Jongho n Hongjoong aren't very touchy ppl, but sometimes they reach out. The rest of members don't mind and appreciate skinship (cuddling, even kisses n hugs, this is a very common thing in kpop n can be used as fan service, but a lot of groups are just that close, like ateez, stray kids, got7, dreamcatcher n so on)
Next, i mentioned a lot LGBTQ+ n the community. Mind you, I'm just an Ally, so this is being taken from Hongjoong n LGBTQ+ Atinys. Hongjoong is known for showing support to the LGBTQ+ community being someone that advocates for the community with campaigns n stating that "Ateez draws a lot of Inspiration from the community" to a fan during a fancall (I think the fan was a member of the community too) and San even saying to a Trans Person on a fan call, that "it doesn't matter their gender, all that matters is what's in their heart". San, Seonghwa n Woo young also pays a lot of attention to slang n International Atinys online, one time San calling Yeosang "Mother" in an Interview (remember Mother can mean badass, sexy, cool n so on regardless of gender and it's like the highest compliment taken from drag culture).
This group all in all, is very "sus" to outsiders, but just very close to each other n aren't afraid to show it. Like in a good way. I'm letting you know before you get into their personalities because i realised for a lot of Straight Male Reactors that they get into Ateez n are shocked by their closeness. But Ateez n a lot of Kpop groups just come from a different culture, where being close is normal, regardless of gender n the LGBTQ community is still wildly frowned upon. Also since they have known each other for 5+ years, lived together, roomed together (not counting ppl like Mingi n Yunho or Woo n Yeosang that have known each othe for 8+ years) so they are bound to be close.
They are very sweet, very good people that I am proud to be called an Atiny. You also mentioned the Fandom name. I love it, cause it ties into them in reality n the lore. We're their Treasure at the end of the Treasure Album Series, we're their Lightinys, the reason why the Fandom lightstick comes in a Treasure Box, We're their Destiny and I'm good without changing the name.
Hope this helps clear things up a bit before you dive deeper into Kpop as a whole. I have been loving your journey so far. Please don't take this the wrong way, i just wanted you to understand a bit more 💜 I also Highly recommend the guide by AlloftheKennys, even if you can just watch it in your free time, its the best guide for Ateez out there. Thank you again for reacting.

The princess nickname is not bc of Yunho, it comes from a popular manhwa character names princess Minky, and also according to Mingi himself he was raised spoiled from his mom like a princess so that's why xD
And also that they may have called Matz as mom and dad specially bf, but they call them the most older brothers not parents!

@@vanessarl8that’s mostly true. They also call them mom and dad. A lot of their other content shows them saying “Eomma, Appa…” it’s even shown in the longer Ateez guide made by Of All The Kenny’s

@@evilangel21 Ik that's why I said they call them mostly hyungs/older brothers, bc you can count with your hands the times they called them mom and dad.

9:21 Its because they grew up around it plus im sorry you getting pulled way into too much of the fan-made content and allot of it not always true, It’s there to manipulate public view to make you think its real 🤔🫤 thats why if I don’t hear it from their mouth directly Im not going to believe it.

Sorry, but you chose a very strange guide. there is a lot of unnecessary water here, and very little really useful information. a lot of necessary and interesting things are missing in this cringe guide...
