I just reminded the Quranic context, for Muslim which you confirmed as doing 1000 years .as you like.

Our ancestors were not of Muslims origin.So their customs and culture naturally conflicts with Quranuc values and norms. What will be the choice of a Muslim, Qur'an or anti Quranic traditions? Be sure whether ,Muslims are misguided by muslim and are detrimental to Islam. Be polite and gentle if you are a Muslim.
