- I'm going to journal my process throughout my documentary journey. Let me know what you think! It's going to be a long process, definitely outside my comfort zone.... but bring it on.
This week's targets were:
- Airsoft & teamwork themed interview with main character
- airsoft gameplay, teamwork, fun stuff
- safety
After being involved for the event, I got to see some key individuals who would make great characters for the development of the plot and story I'm going for. Can't wait to shoot the next one.

I gotta know what settings you're recording the night stuff on?? Your editing is on point.
Sigma 30mm @ f1.4, no ND filter.
Sick lens for something pretty natural. Otherwise I’ll reach for the Sigma 56mm 1.4.
23.8fps at 1/48.
ISO anywhere between 800 (low dual base iso) or 3200 (won’t go above it before adding noise reduction)
White balance to taste, but usually sit in the 5600k range for outdoors.

This is really good editing for such a low number of subs but I think that the pacing could be better and a little more streamlined
For sure, I appreciate you saying that. It’s just a re-cap so I slapped some footage together and talked about my experience. I think keeping people informed and up to date on my actual documentary is more important than a story I would have to make up in an edit.
