take off the snap ring to the valve is then developed completely to leave the inner part and replace O-ring

How can I insure that technician fully put gas? As in my 1.5 ton voltas window AC , he fill only 50 ps gas, actually he was suppose to fill 60-65 psi gas, or its ok?

Dear Soma, very well explained taking care of all the required precautions to be taken during service valves replacement.
My question is that mostly the the valve starts leaking from the charging port, in that case we could replace only the spring load part if compatible part available removing from the new valve .However, if leak would be from the port having alien key access for valve opening then the complete vale may be replaced.
Please advise per your experience.Thanks
Inside the Valves locks there are rubber O rings. And units are kept in sunlight / harsh condition. After few years O rings become hard or tare down. And From there gas start leaking
Spring valve rearly damgage. It get lossen due to viberation. We just need to tight it.
We can replace spring valves with bike tube valves.

Soma Electricals Agreed with your arguments. Sub cooled refrigerant keeps cooling of the entire charging valve including inside hardware ( o-rings and rubber seats). However, if AC will remain stand by for long in harsh ambient, with aging aforesaid rubber seats or seals or o- rings will be hardened and loose their intended functionality resulting in refrigerant leakage.
I have observed some technicians provide teflon tape and tight the weather caps on the service valve to stop the miner leakage that stops temporarily and make a way for another call to fix the leakage . Technically it never convinced me considering it alike to put soil on the rubbish to prevent smell .
I am convinced about on- line replacement of Schrader core of charging port. However, leakage from the other port would require valve replacement.

as we get china made valves here. can't say what kind of washers they fix.

@@HailStonE999 there is no reputed brands. of Chinese valves. u can change O rings of valves. buy O rings from automobiles shop those qualities will be good. because those rings r fitting in engines it will be heat resistant.

If any other idea for to stop temparery leakagesfrom this both valve as I filled gas in March 2020 now today my mechanic check pressure which shows 70 so looking to
Percentage of leakage is very low and he tell me to change both valve with new gas filling which cost of 500 Rs x 2 valve and 3500 Rs for gas which is currently very problematic for me pl.give positive solution for this thanks
for Temperly valve end caps should be fix with Teflon tape tightly
