Yeah buddy. Think I have stayed at this spot. We went up a few weeks ago and it was packed, stayed as far out on FS70 as we could get with 2 wheel drive. Spent a lot of the summer out here, some great rock hounding in the area also. Totally spoiled to live so close to such beauty.
Right on, that's awesome to hear! The Greenwater area is amazing, so many spots that provide views of Rainier! Gets a little busy during the summer months, but I love coming out here during fall or even camping a lower evaluation in the winter to be near first chair for riding at Crystal 😉
Couldn't agree more! This time of year is perfect with all the snow melted away, those higher elevation spots are amazing! Thanks for the continued support! 🙌
Always love your content my man. I like the balance camping, hiking and being outdoors provides me in this mad world. I'm always reminding myself to slow down and just try to be in the moment. Keep up the good work and looking forward to future videos.
Thank you very much, really appreciate that! Getting out and having fun should definitely involve more than just car camping, I love getting out on the water with kayak, ripping around on the bike, or hiking. This kind of weather in the PNW is limited so we have to enjoy it while we can! Thanks for watching and hope all is well!
That’s awesome, I would of never considered that model Jeep for camping! Glad you’re stepping out of your comfort zone and taking us along for the ride
The Grand Cherokee is beyond underrated and I can't wait to showcase this model in the upcoming travels we have planned! It's been absolutely fantastic so far and I looking forward to where it'll take us next! Thanks for watching and the support! 😊
I went up there the same weekend and ended up seeing you already set up! Too shy to say hi but wanted to say love the videos! Utilized google earth in your first video showcasing this spot and found it by matching the scenes!
Oh dang, that's awesome! Definitely have to say hi next time, love meeting supports of the channel! Glad you were able to find the spot, there is certainly a lot of potential in that area 😉 👍
Hi! Enjoying your videos for some time - Thanks for the awesome work! 🙏🏻 May I ask how the awning is mounted? Thank you and regards from Denmark 🙋🏻♂️ /Patrick
Thank you for the support! I mounted the awning using a simple L-bracket that slide into the T-channel of the cross bars. It's not the hardware Kammok provides as I needed it to fit under the tent and be tucked away. Cheers!
it's always the spots you don't think you're going to be able to get that end up being available! I'm sure that road up there kept the vans out too haha.
Exactly how it was! Funny enough I drove right past this spot earlier that morning just assuming it was taken, could have eaten breakfast way sooner knowing the outcome now… 😆
Thank you so much for the kind words, means a lot! Early congrats on the soon to be retirement, lots of travel in store for you! Stanley is with his mom enjoying his best life! 😉
Thank you for the support, much appreciated! Most of the apparel I wear on trips is from Beyond Clothing, you can check them out here: beyondclothing.com Cheers! 😊
Thank you so much! I don't have an Amazon affiliate setup just yet but I'll share the gear I have anyway. The camera is very budget friendly and nearly a decade old but so far it's gotten the job done! 😆 😉 - Lumix G85 with kit 12-60 lens - DJI Osmo Action Camera - DJI Mini 3 Pro Drone
That's awesome! There are so many hidden gems out in this area. Just have to be willing to explore off the main path and get the occasional trail trophies 😉 😆
@@ConquestOverland yeah my 4runner has won it's fair share of trophies over the years lol. Both sides of that valley are full of great camping spots. Also been poking around the southern side of the mountain also!!
Impressive! Thanks for all the efforts you put in. Always enjoy your videos. Does this spot have cellular network? If so, how is it, curious its Att/TMO as I have TMO. Lastly, how difficult is terrain to get there? I have an AWD with 9 inch clearance. Thanks!
Appreciate the continued support, thank you! This area has spotty cell service at least with AT&T, not sure about other carriers. As far as getting there, the road itself is just your average forest/ gravel road. Just before getting into this spot this is a very small "rock climb" (kind of showed on camera) but with your clearance you should have no trouble!
No reservation, just head up and see what you can find and claim for the night! This is all on public land in a National Forest, just remember to leave the area better than you found it so others behind you can enjoy the area for many years to come 😉 👍
@@ConquestOverland it’s really cool what you do I don’t have experience in Overland. I just got my roof top tent last week and I did my first ever camping with my family?
@@Oaxacooverland congrats on getting out and the new tent!! Besides a few pieces of recovery gear and the emergency equipment, all you need is a reliable vehicle and the sense of adventure! Be sure to check out this area, honestly any road out there is a great choice. Besides the countless dispersed camping opportunities, there is plenty of hiking trails, fishing spots, views of Mount Rainier, and even the Stampede Pass trail that connect you to I-90! Appreciate the support, have fun out there and safe travels!
To help keep these areas in good condition for all to enjoy I don't give coordinates out publicly. You have to remember, part of the adventure is finding these places for yourself vs. always getting the exact answer... Pull up your favorite navigation app, Google Earth, see the hints provided in the video, and get out exploring! Thanks for the watching! If you do find it, please remember to leave these areas better than you found them 😉 👍

Thanks my love! We'll definitely throw down on some yummy meals for our next trip! 😊 ❤️
My wife and I really enjoy your videos. We can't wait to get back to the states to begin our off-road life. Keep it up.

Next time for sure! Thanks for the continued support!
Looks super pretty! No chick-fil-a this time? The pad Thai looks super yummy!
Wanted to branch out just a little bit, the Pad Thai turned out really good! Definitely needed to step my cooking game 😉

HEY THERE BUDDY!!
First comment! Gold star goes to you my friend! 😉🤘
I need to know exactly where this spot is so I can make it. Please tell me lol
Just got a 4runner for these reasons. How do you find these spots? Im also in Washington
Just a mix between Gaia GPS, onX Offroad, Google Earth, and a little luck 😉
So do you need to register or reserve anything to go there? Or is it just drive up and find a spot?
No reservation, just head up and see what you can find and claim for the night! This is all on public land in a National Forest, just remember to leave the area better than you found it so others behind you can enjoy the area for many years to come 😉 👍
Is this a official trail/road that would show on trails off road or on x off road?
Indeed it is! The opening scenes were clips from Gaia GPS 😉 👍
better to avoid 😢😮
Avoid what? 🤨
I live in Puyallup Washington how can I get to that area?
Take Highway 410 towards Greenwater and take your pick on the endless forest roads 😉👍

Another great video! Nice to hear you want to slow down and relax. Try a nice cigar with your 12 year red breast. Very relaxing.
Appreciate it! Was a much needed slower paced weekend, the views were a nice touch too 😉 🥃

Not sure if I've earned that title yet, let me work on a few more meals first 😉 😂
