CLICK-BAIT!!! This is old story (not a "BREAKING" news). And Caitlin Clark was not "FIRED" by Coach Reeve. The US Women's BB Team Selection Committee did not include Clark in the 12-member squad. Please doing this cheap tactic to get more clicks.
First of clark was not on the olympic team in the first place she was on the all star wnba team which in turn defeated Cheryl Reeve and her lack luster US Women's Basketball team.

How did Reeve even become a coach? No common sense & not able to recognize talent, CC culibre talent is once in a generation - fantastic natural talent, if she can’t see that - we’ll it’s time for her to find another job. Watching Reeve not have a clue is really disappointing, I can handle very little stupidity happening over & over & over WOW. CC is the only reason I’m interested in WNBA period, along with thousands of other people I’m sure. CC is pure talent & a joy to watch & cheer on, open your eyes coaches, then smell the coffee before you show the country how much a fool you really are & end up losing that talent to another team !!! Let CC do her thing & amaze the WNBA by those 3 pointers & break every record in style & grace, take notice - you might actually learn a thing or two & truely enjoy watching the game. Rock on baby
To use a football analogy, the old coaches are stuck in a single wing formation and CC is a West Coast offense. These old ladies need to be put out to pasture if they can't adapt.
