Thank you for sharing. I need to get some more Starbond. I had no idea you could use hot melt glue for larger cracks. What a great idea!! I think I need to start using Odies oil. That countertop looks great!!

How do you get your resin mixture to retain those swirls? It isn't clear in your latest videos. Your wood/resin tops do however, look absolitely fantastic - kudos to you because your (new) workshop build is still work in progress.
I've poured and then waited anything from 8 - 14 hours later and restirred to get the those swirls to stay: otherwise they just sink to the botton of the pour. Some TH-camrs say wait 6-8 hours to stir again for the perfect swirl finish but I've almost always had to stir continuously for up to 14 hours. My tops aren't as big as yours either - more large cofee table size.

I agitate it late in the cure so high risk strategy but it does lift the sinking pigment, look over my other resin videos I have loads on this technique

Well done Andy. Great to see you are good and rebuilding the shop. Sometimes these things come our way, glad you are seeing the positive side of it. Don’t you have a jumper 😃, or is it warm in the UK?• Greetings from Cape Town and enjoy the small break with your family.

Good to see you here again! You got me googling for Odie's when you did that drill holder a while ago and now I gotta go back and do it again... The price seems kinda steep and I guess you go through a lot of pads and towels and stuff like that but the results are great and the idea of a nice smelling finish is great as I'm pretty fed up with the stuff that gets you all high or burns out your nostrils... Funky little buffing machine by the way, gotta check that since I'm on the Makita platform too. Keep rocking and I hope you'll be able to make time for your loved ones at Christmas and new years :)

Do you ever do tables with spalted slabs .they look amazing when the whole wood has a full coverage of epoxy drenched over it .

What model hotmelt glue is that you have? Do you recommend any hotmelt glue sticks over others?
Thanks & good to see you getting back on your feet again after the fire.
