Mom Otsuyu thought it best to keep the girls away from their baby brother for now. It was so sweet she came out and rolled over for them. She loves her girls so much. Otter moms are the best moms ever. Thank you so much Mom Loutre. 💛🦦🦦🦦🦦💛

少し前までわさなみちゃんがとろろくんサイズだったのに、すっかり大人！
今回は上手くご対面できなかったけど、みんなで仲良く遊べる日を楽しみにしています♡
ゴールキーパーみたいなポーズでとろろ君を守ろうとするおつゆちゃん💕立派にママさんしてますね🥰とろろ君の目が開いて、もうちょっと大きくなったら、きっとわさなみお姉ちゃんと遊べるよ💕しかし、赤ちゃんのことでは娘たちにすらピリピリしちゃうおつゆちゃんが、ルートルママさんが赤ちゃんを抱っこしても怒りもしない。なんと強い信頼関係なのでしょう✨✨✨

What a fierce otter mum! Not surprising, her priority no.1 is baby Tororo (soon to become a Tororozilla). I hope the tornado twins don't feel forgotten by their mother 😅 it's common that the younger ones take all their parents' attention.

Oh, my! I haven't seen/watched Namida and Wasabi in a while and they have gotten bigger. I miss those two. Namida and Wasabi are also/still kids, themselves. Mommy otter is just looking out for the safety, happiness, and togetherness for everyone. Namida and Wasabi are smart.

Otsuyu’s instincts are amazing. She very cautious. Mama knows the 🦦🦦twins don’t understand their own enthusiasm. I’m guessing the next reunion won’t happen until Toro’s eyes are open. 🥰💗

Otsuyu is a mama for the twins and the baby. She protects tororo from his sisters' crazy jumping but she also sort of saying to the twins that she's still their mom and she still loves them 💕💕💕💕
That's the feeling I got too. Otsuyu obviously still cares about her daughters even though they're almost full-grown but she definitely doesn't trust them around a helpless pup. At this stage of Tororo's life she might not trust Oage near him either. But he still needs to meet his son sooner rather than later so he'll understand he _has_ a son. If he can help with pup-rearing at the point in a couple months Otsuyu will need help, so much the better.

I didn’t think of this on my initial comment, but I’m sure even such a short visit was enough for the girls to know that mom had a baby, which was the most important thing. Surely they know that when they see and smell her, and they smelled him just being in the room I bet - all those animal communication things :) So a lot was accomplished! 🤗

That was a great introduction! She’s such a great mama! Her behavior is pretty amazing. She protected her fragile little baby but still wanted to show the girls she wasn’t upset with them! She’s so special 💕❤️ I bet you were nervous not knowing how it would go! She did great and the girls did great! We will see how they all do when he’s a bit older. I love this little family!

🍃Possibly to soon for the twins to meet their brother he still is to small. I can understand Otsuyu being protective at this stage. Keeping her stress down is important to enjoy her little one fully. Lots of time for family unity in the future but for now peace and quiet. 🤗🍃

That is so cute how Otsuyu is being very protective of her baby by not letting the kids in the cage. Otsuyu only lets them see him from a distance outside the cage. Otsuyu trusts you way more then she trusts her daughters and knows you are a good mommy to and her daughters are trouble makers, lol.🤜💥🤛

I love how she rolls over on top of the baby and braces herself with her arm on the cage, wow, amazing Ya, when it can fend for itself a little, Otsuyu will let you know, but it isnt now LOL XD

Надо же. Канал выпал в рекомендациях в прошлом году, когда Оцую разродилась двойней. Подписался, отвернулся буквально на пару месяцев, и тут на тебе - у Оцую новый приплод, а двойняшки уже выросли с мамку размером.
Ох, как я испугалась 😲 Всё же малыш Тороро наверное еще слишком мал... 🤔 А его сёстры такие темпераментные.. Но Оцуё супер - мама! Как она защищала Тороро, она молодец! 🦦+👶❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It’s amazing how different she was with Odashi seeing the baby for the first time verse the girls. She knew Odashi is her mothering partner innately and would love, be gentle and care for Toro no matter their current disagreement. She loves her children but knew to keep away the rambunctious girls lol. Toro needs to get older before playing with WasaMida 🤣
Is it usual for a mother otter not to want her older children to come near a new pup? I was surprised at how intent Otsuyu was on keeping Wasabi and Namida away from Tororo. I've read about and seen a zoo video or two in which older daughters "babysat" while their mother bathed, swam, or ate, so it surprised and disappointed me that Otsuyu didn't even want her twins to *see* their brother. Hopefully, the next family meeting will be more successful. Love and best wishes to everyone!
No it’s not normal for the mom to act that way it’s not her fault. The reason she is like that is because they have been separated for some time if they would been kept together they would be helping out like otsuyu and odashi were helping out her sister.
@@saleen84545 Thanks for your reply. I thought that was possibly the case. BTW, I wasn't criticizing Otsuyu in any way. I was just surprised by her behavior. I hope the next family meeting goes well, whether it's with the twins or with Oage, because I want Tororo to have healthy relationships with the rest of his family members.
Hopefully so it would be nice to see an actual big family and how they interact with each other so much fun.
@@auburnstar27 Yes! That's exactly my understanding of how healthy ASCO families work--and what I've seen in other otter environments (zoos). I would love for Otsuyu and Oage's family to be able to live like that!
Wow! The fact that Otsuyu lets mama-San hold the baby but drives off her own daughters says much of the trust she places on mama-San. She really loves her human family more than her flesh and blood family. You folks are to be commended and admired. 🤗😉🥰

December 29, 2022. This is the first I saw the twins Namida and Wasabi meeting their baby brother Tororo. Momma Otsuyu was a good, protective mother.

Jamie, go back a year and watch the videos of Namida and Wasabi when they were babies. It's quite an incredible story, watching their mom Otsuya allow her twin Odashi to help raise the babies. Odashi even started lactating so the babies had two moms! Plus, they were adorable babies. You'll be doubly hooked! 😍
