Can we understand everlasting life given to us by Jesus because we believe He is the Christ (which means He guarantees out eternal destiny) as the same equivalent to believing that because Jesus ressurected we will ressurect too and live with Him forever?

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it "the gospel of Christ" is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Jesus is the way of salvation, because he is the Savior. 1 John 5:20 Jesus is the true God, and eternal life.

I can't imagine the simple hearer of the Word would deduct this. The message of salvation must be simple for a child or the dumb can believe.

The bulls-eye of the Gospel of the Kingdom was to believe in the King, that is Jesus “the Christ” which came by divine revelation.
Then Paul said, John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. Acts 19:4; 20:21 repentance TOWARD God, and faith TOWARD our Lord Jesus Christ. The only condition for the gift of eternal life was always in Christ alone by faith alone for the Seed/eternal life Galatians 1:9,11-12; 3:8,15-22,29; Gen 3:15,20; 12:3; 15:1-6; Rom 4:16-22; It was only that after Jesus came into the world that we knew who the Christ was.
    Divine revelation Matthew 16:15-23; Luke 10:20-22; John 5:24-25 (spiritual resurrection) ; 6:44-45; 12:48-50; ( John 12:48; Rev 20:15).

Note: the baptism of repentance was a requirement to justify God for the Jews to set up their kingdom and be in harmony. (See Luke 7:29-30 also see John 8:56 and 1 Sam 3:7 concerning divine revelation and 2 Cor 4:3-6; 1 Tim 2:4 God’s desire that all be saved.

You are adding the need to believe in eternal security as a requirement for salvation. That is why you are in error. Obviously, saved people are eternally secure, but not everybody knows they can't lose it.

If some people believe that they are saved but do not know that they are eternally secure, then what type of salvation do they believe they have?

@@cathi7610 The Good news of the Kingdom for the Jews (all) was dependent on a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins, and belief in Jesus “the Christ”.
That generation lost the good news of the kingdom coming then for them.
The Good news of Jesus death, burial, and resurrection for believers was something they could lose the experience of if they did not stand fast.
The Good news of justification by faith alone was speaking to born again believers that could lose their freedom in Christ by going under the law. (Justification by faith was also a free gift that one received at the moment of faith in “the Christ” OT, Jesus “the Christ” NT.
All three Good news the core is the same believing in Jesus for eternal life (the Christ) which they could not lose, but they could lose the experience of eternal life (life more abundant here and now).
Zane was correct when he said: The offer of life is unconditional and carries with it an absolute guarantee of its permanence. This and this only, is the Christian gospel.
Note: Zane on meaning of unconditional: As so often in the salvation verses of John’s Gospel, it is quite plain that the offer of life represents a permanent gift that has no conditional elements at all beyond its initial reception by faith.
