@@robertabbott8541 thanks! It was probably on the riskier side of our renovations so far! The health and safety officer didn't see the video before it went out this week.
I was watching Pete standing under that beam asking for a hard hat and Im like mate if that beam lands on you the hat isn’t going to help one bit Then he mentioned about the steel bit and I felt like a right tit 🤭🤣🤣🤣 I was still chewing on my fingers watching you both lifting and pushing it At about 21 mins the camera shows that curved wall in the ground floor at the left of the window doesn’t go any higher are you guys going to demo it to get the square room back Daisy? Cracking (nail biting) video this week folks, one step closer to moving in
@@scottsorby7966 haha thanks Scott! Pete has stood under some risky bits this last year or so... But didn't fancy a steel bar to the top of the head! Curved walls are all staying, some are being slightly dug back (they are nearly all about a meter thick) and having rebar bedded into them where needed. It's a real balancing act between trying to keep the old world feel of the house while making it easier for ourselves to work with. Thanks again for watching Scott. Hope you haven't melted in the recent heat.
@@IfIHadADiggerAFrenchRenovation Thanks Daisy, aye I get that,, the old feel of the house is really what makes it a home. Anything over 12 degrees and us jocks are dropping dead with heatstroke,, but the good news is that when Noah's big flood comes again you sun people are all in trouble and us rain dwellers with gills in the Frozen North will be fine 🤣🤣
These people are scary.
