Bloodgood had a huge impact in my teenage years. As a teen in 1983 I got into witchcraft from books at the public library. That led to openly serving satan in full on satanism. After a couple years of getting deep into that, I got scared of the demons visiting me. satan told me there was no way out. God in His Mercy sent me help showing me I was never too far for Him to come get one His lost sheep. Bloodgood had a huge impact in my life as a new teenage Christian. Praise God for His mercy. Still walking on that road to glory now 54 years old. Never get tired of Bloodgood cranked to 10!
How many youngsters were saved by Christ through the work of these guys? I don't know. But each of them today not only enjoy their songs, but are also grateful for their lives, and I'm one of them. God bless Les Carlsen and the others, for they fought the good fight.

Saw these guys open for Stryper. I think it was the Soldiers Under Command tour. I remember them doing "What's Following the Grave". I had never heard them before. My ears are still ringing.
I wish I had seen the quality of these guys when I was young. I am so blessed to call Les Carlsen a friend. Bloodgood brought me to the LORD! I will be forever thankful.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is my first time watching a full Bloodgood concert. NO WAY did I ever expect to see such a spectacle! Blew my mind. It's got theatrics that put Alice Cooper to shame. A big cast, tons of energy - Les' athleticism while singing is incredible to the point I thought he was lip-syncing - and a bit of pyro all while rocking hard. What else could one have asked for. Regrettably, from a financial perspective, since these guys were not drawing crowds the size of U2, I can only guess this full production wasn't present at every date on the tour. I wish I would've seen this live. Thanks for posting Classic Christian Vinyl.

I was not a Christian in the 80's, so I listened to the secular bands. Now, I am 45, as a Christian, and re discovering these Christian metal bands. I still follow the secular bands I grew up listening to, but these guys could hold their own, if not singing about Jesus....I am thankful for all of them
How did Les dance that much and not be out of breath!? This show was so awesome. Didn't ever see them live in Australia - not sure if they made it here. Man they they were dynamite live.
So glad I just heard the albums and never saw them live. Music is great but I don't go to a metal concert to watch some dude with jazz hands in a blouse.
On 12-26-1983 I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and on 12-26-2023 I just celebrated my 40th year anniversary walking down the Narrow Road with Jesus and the journey continues. My favorite song by Bloodgood was The Messiah. Bloodgoods music was part of this 65 yr old Jesus Freaks life No music done today is like this. Bands like Petra, Whitecross, Bloodgood and The Resurrection Band are gone. Only Skillet brings great music today.

I was watching it with him at a bereans bookstore in Sacramento california. he told me that there was a guy plugging his ears and mocking God. That is why he said that at the end of eat the flesh.
We all need to be saved from having to spend our eternity in God's lake of fire, because that's a fate we ALL deserve. The song “Shakin’ The House” that was played and sang by the Rock Band Petra came off of the album titled “Back To The Street” that came out in 1986.
- they are two different songs. I have both the Petra cd and Bloodgood cd....not the same songs..but both are great songs.
I saw them 1987, Richardson Civic Center , Dallas Tx... it was a small venue but the show was awesome, got to talk to them afterwards....nice
