    I wanted to come back and feedback for others. Since your review helped me.
    I decided on sleep on latex in medium 3”. It was more plushy the first week or two. But now close to a month in, it’s firmer than it was but it makes my rock hard spring bed tolerable now. I would only improve it with a soft topper on top of it perhaps 2”. I did pay extra for the cover, but I can’t imagine not having one on it.
    My biggest worry was defects or smell.
    I did not see any defects yet and the smell so far is barely noticeable straight out of box. Every now and then I may smell it, but the best I would compare it to is a faint Jute rug. Nothing offensive. I did order in winter so I don’t know if I just got a good batch smell wise, but wasn’t anything like negative reviews that had me worried.
    The reason I chose sleep on latex over NN is because NN customer service was lacking and I trusted all the certifications with SOL and the prompt customer service gave me assurance if a problem did arise that they would be easier to work with and free returns. NN took days to respond if at all and that concerned me since I had no latex experience and wasn’t sure what to expect. And also SOL density/firm level is higher count than NN for the medium and firm.
    I may try NN for a soft topper on top of the SOL in the future now that I know latex. But I plan to get SOL to upgrade other old mattresses as soon as I can afford it.
    Thanks for your help! I hope this helps someone.

    Love all your natural finds! We have no room for a mattress topper with our new mattress in the camper, but looks like we may heading into a home sooner than later and will be in need of new mattress toppers. I love that this has a cover!!

    I want to add bounce to my memory foam mattress. Would a latex topper work? And what thickness? Thanks.

    I've been looking for a good sturdy mattress topper. most are very expensive and generally not worth the cost. you could just buy a whole new mattress for cheaper. so a bit of back story. i usually get my medication from a mail pharmacy because my insurance wont cover anything else. they tend to pack the temp controlled meds with ice packs and insulation. the insulation, i found, was made by Ecoliner. the insulation is in a thin plastic bag (i took it out of the bag), and is actually recycled cotton from clothes or something else, hard to tell, so i dont know really. so after a year, i had enough of these 3ft x 1ft x 1 inch thick rectangles to put on top of my old day bed mattress in 2 layers, so about 2 inches thick. then i covered it with a tight fitting sheet, and wrapped it in a mattress protector. the results were amazing. the material is very soft, but you never sink into it. i would say its medium firm. its holds very well, and does not trap heat. thought i should mention because this would literally cost very little. i am trying to get a whole topper with this material but cant find it anywhere. the cotton fiber looks to be pressed together to give it strength but also is very soft.

      This is absolutely brilliant! What a great way to reuse that packaging!

    where did you get your base for the sleep on latex bed or can you use a box spring and metal frame or does it need the air flow like the wooden base ? and i will have to check at the topper 2

      I originally had my sleep on latex mattress on my old box spring and metal frame. Once they started getting too old and creaking, I switched to a natural wood slatted bed frame. Super happy with it! Here's more information on what I chose and why: www.getgreenbewell.com/non-toxic-bed-frame/

    I wish I would of found this before sleeponlatex! I have 3 of the toppers in my camper van but plan to try this brand in the future. Do you know how they source the wool? I am trying to find an organic wool/and or cotton mattress cover vs jersey cotton.

    • @GetGreenBeWell
      @GetGreenBeWell  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both brands are great. I'm sure your camper van bed is awesome as it is! I'm not sure about the wool sourcing. You might want to contact the company about that.

      @@GetGreenBeWell Yes I love it so far, its 9 inches of latex! LOL They don't have a phone number so I will wait patiently...Have you tried the Savvyrest cover?

      We haven’t tried the Savvy Rest cover yet. We’ve been waiting on figuring out color options for our bedroom before getting one.

    Hello, I saw your latex for less video some time ago over the avacado. I’m interested in the organic version. I have seen a lot of negative reviews on amazon for sleep on latex but generally expect them to all come from the same factories. Maybe not.
    Anyways, have you found any mold issues or gauges and repairs on the nestled topper? Or seams glued back together?
    My other question was is do they short change the edges of the topper. I have a full and I’m considering buying a queen to insure the edges are flush. I figured I could trim it accordingly but looking at the mold of the topper that might cause the vent holes/shedding to be on the edge. Have you tried trimming your toppers with success? If they aren’t short changed I’d be fine with the full, but I loathe when the topper sides and top are smaller than the mattress.
    Also how’s the smell? I am sensitive but there seems to be an abundance of smell issues with sleep on latex reviews.
    Thank you.

      Sorry also would you recommend medium or firm? I think firm would hold up longer but I don’t have any experience with latex and don’t know if people are being dramatic when they say firm is like a tire. Thanks again

    • @GetGreenBeWell
      @GetGreenBeWell  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t found any mold issues on either of the latex mattresses or toppers. And I haven’t seen any seams glued back together. As far as the size, we have noticed that it was a bit smaller than the bedframe at first. But then after a few days it fully expands and was normal size. Of course, every mattress or topper is different. I have tried trimming latex toppers before. It is a complete mess and I can almost guarantee you that you’re not gonna get it completely straight cut for the entire way.

      As far as any smell, I never noticed any smell with sleep on latex or naturally nestled. Everybody is different, though. Hope this helps!

      Do you have a preference for SOL or Nn

    • @GetGreenBeWell

      @@tfs94gt I think that Sleep on Latex is definitely firmer and way more supportive. Naturally Nestled is definitely softer and more pillow-top feel.

      Nope! You don’t have to unbox immediately. Ours were in the box a couple weeks.

    Nice toppers but for the price, you might as well buy a new mattress.
