I had shadowrun for Genesis as well, and I didn't realize until years later that the artwork is also the original artwork for the first couple editions of the Shadowrun core rulebook.
I still sing the songs from that game. I remember playing it as a kid and having to rely on that blood code cheat lol.

Yeah, as a Shadowrun fan, I recognized the artwork and figured it was either a Shadowrun ripoff or a fake game. Good music though.

But love this bad ass atmospheric music.

I don't get the obsession with "fact checking" vaporwave mixes as if it's some kind of profound gotcha. People have been doing this for decades, just in different mediums. Even if they were unedited from the original, I'd never find these tracks if it weren't for people like this.

The concept for making OST for "Classic" video games, as a musician, is super smart. Because it helps focus the feeling and efforts that go into every musical decision you make. You must also be making a good living because you have built a dedicated audience. We might not like to think of it that way but among other things, it's life. You're killing it. As a fan, I know you're consistent, so telling you to keep pushing would be useless. Keep pushing.

Whenever I think Cyberpunk and listen to these sounds I always wonder just how much of myself I'd have to lose or sell just to hear 100% again. I really do wish I could hear properly again. From what I can tell this sounds pretty solid and makes me want to play Mass Effect 1 or watch Ghost in the Shell again. Also I love the cover art, I would love that to be a real game.

I had this in recommendations and didn’t listen because I thought this was some 80’s thrash, based on the cover. I love 80’s thrash, but there’s a lot of it that’s really good, so it didn’t stand out. It’s really good.
